From what i read, everything reated to this albanian guy and kartes is hoax or infringed code. what about this vx30?!?!? anyone recognize it is their code or from a familiar project on probably sf.net? i am curious...
I used a normal Samsonite Atom III bag... it is comfortable to take with you, a lot of space and light. a backpack is still very vulnerable and i wouldn't advice to use it on a busy airport!
i used it for a period of at least two months. most of the time i had my laptop in there: a sony tr1 (slimline), with a dv camera, a camerastand, dsc camera, some batteries and a lot of memorysticks. and still could put the chargers in there with a coat. and if really needed, you coudl also put it in a case as protection if you take the plane (which i did on my way back [in an airporter]). or else, fold it to put it into your luggage if you really dont need to carry it around all the time.
samsonite is a brand which you could also easily buy overseas and... beware, in some countries it is even more expensive as it is considered a luxury item.
But the page IS made on Java Server Pages/Servlets. So the reference to Java is correct. That it also uses Javascript is very normal... (Still, Sun and Netscape made the first implementation of Javascript together (First Netscape named it LiveScript). Javascript would 'supplement' Java applets. Javascript looks even a little similar to Java itself. Netscape even had a project to write Java dynamically in the form of Javascript: LiveConnect)
Hopefully they add even more usable features to it, like a decent shader... and a better user interface. I still prefer Maya for my overall work, but if Blender is evolving in this same pace. It is perhaps someday possible to switch to a cheaper solution
Why not use the in between solution, like ORDBMS. PostgreSQL has a very fine implementation if this.
eg. A Person { } and a User { extends Person}.
I just started using Directories again and I don't know that much about it's internals. Isn't OpenLDAP based on the BerkeleyDB libs and isn't LDAP somewhat object-oriented?
drawback for LDAP is that write calls are not very fast. A directory is better for few writes and many reads).
The Amiga way wasn't really that good either, since if you had renamed the disk in the meantime. the system couldn't figure that out anymore (you had to alias the disk, handy feature). and what if the disk was called as the device name, say DF0: ??? then you had to insert it into that drive, and remove the disk that was already in that drive (or else cancel the request).
I mailed... does that count... unfortunately i got the following reply:

what do we get for one license for the SCO IP? do we get a paper showing us the infringed code? If not, we are not willing to pay for a license.
we rather fix the problem you claim there is for ourself... SO SHOW US THE PROBLEM AND WE WILL FIX IT...
until you show any prove about your claims, we are not willing to pat you... perhaps we don't even make any use of the code by having recompiled a linux kernel...
No Loki was out of business. They created native ports. While transgaming uses the 'emulation' approach using wine. Their implementation is called WineX. (emulates DirectX functions and has copy protection verifiers)
Standardize: Just like with mozilla. I'm sick of having several installations of a similar application om my harddisk. Wine, Crossover Plugin, Crossover Office, WineX. Mozilla, Netscape, Galeon, Konqueror, OEone Homebase/Desktop. ARGH! Standardize these so I only have to install the mozilla libs and wine libs!
Don't tell me: Kohan has it's own WineX executable ?!?
i really hate texts like: similar interface like morpheus... why?
MORPHEUS IS A RIPOFF OF GNUCLEUS...
conclusion:
NEONAPSTER = MORPHEUS == Gnucleus...
Gnucleus is a rather good gnutella client... not that stable, but it works... if you use windows, visit their website. and all linux/unix users, use mutella:oP...
i guess NEO stands for NEON@ZI!...
and yes, i also noticed it... NEOAUDIO is a ripoff of CDex... never ever heard of before...
emergency: you can boot a computer with it and use a uLinux distro to recover files from almost every filesystem
school: you can take documents with you, since email doesn't always work the way it should
amiga: can't think of any other way to play my old games... not every game is hd installable
yamaha: my yamaha sequencer and sampler use floppies for the midi and sample files... a scsi harddrive is handy, but the interface is way TOO expensive!
The iPod uses a ARM based decoder which is completely reprogrammable... the iPod can be used for theft (read the posting on slashdot.org) and you can boot your Mac from it using the firewire link (excellent backup)...
Strange... since the official PS2 linux isn't Redhat Linux, but Kondara MNU/Linux... On the RedHat site, they already showed the PS2 in their showcase... as provider of the embedded developement platform: http://www.redhat.com/about/success/showcase/ps2la rge.html
For those who still dont know how the new Amiga DE works, read this article. Believe me, this really works! This article refers to articles in the IBM Developerworks.
"One of the biggest questions I come up against when talking to people about the new Amiga platform, and specifically about Amiga's deals with Red Hat to be the multimedia platform for Red Hat Linux, is "Why does Linux need Amiga?" Tough question -- until today."
From the beginning, Red Hat was mentioned as a supporter of the Amiga platform, together with other companies like Corel. Even RenderWare is being mentioned and perhaps NewTek wanted to return to the Amiga platform.

SUPER! Dit hebben ze zeker wel verdient. Een prestatie die zelfs overtreft wat men had verwacht!
ICQ has a similar feature, which exists longer then 1996, real time chat. you could see what the other was typing...

But please, take note: ZODB is NOT ACID compliant.
3 .h tml
http://zope.org/Wikis/ZODB/FrontPage/guide/node
ZODB doesn't provide Consistency
Is that supposed to be Swap space or Physical memory ;oP)))

i recompiled my kernel... perhaps it will not even include any part of their 'claimed' code...
;oP... again, no payments...
until they show us anything... no payments...
but what the heck, if they show us... the problem might disappear within a day or two...
so, what is it they are after???
Yes... and it was even easier to make it dualboot to solaris...
;oP
i have a SR1K, the former version of the TR series... the TR looks more like a SR then the C1 (only for the camera that is).
It's just laptop based on a standard architecture, so i don't see any problem... but perhaps you meant other in a much wider scope (OS X?)

Floppies are excellent for:
:oP)
school: they fit in your bag or pocket
emergency: you can boot a computer with it and use a uLinux distro to recover files from almost every filesystem
school: you can take documents with you, since email doesn't always work the way it should

yamaha: my yamaha sequencer and sampler use floppies for the midi and sample files... a scsi harddrive is handy, but the interface is way TOO expensive!
summer: handy for your cola
etc.
trust me, i could name more reasons...
