    That's too bad. I have had a ps3 since 2006 and games are played an average of 30 hours per week with lots movie watching thrown in. It is still running strong and cool.

    Looks like my son will get the new ps3 and I will get the hand-me-down old one (4 USB ports, yeah) and keep the linux functionality.

    Your $0.02 is not rare because you didn't make a single point. You don't know what wattage you are pulling? Why spout irrelevant numbers? Watts eventually equally heat. good job with the 38C - I wish my processor ran that cool.

    You should have been modded insightful. How much blame can be placed at the feet of the people telling us how bad everything is? They tell us the end is near so we stop buying and it snowballs. Nobody is buying so no one is producing and blah, blah, blah. I am not asking for my own special rose-colored glasses, but I'd sure like for the talking heads to show a little constraint once in a while. NO, not censorship. Restraint. Compassion. I know they gotta make their story juicier than the other guys, but jeez. I'm rambling...

    The number of FATAL auto crashes is on the DECREASE as newer cars are ever LESS likely to have accidents with FATALITIES.

    The statistics seem to disagree with you (unfortunately). I say 'unfortunately' because I drive almost 600 miles per week. I am increasing my chances for an early exit. :~(

    I have had the misfortune of being required to deal with 2 different computers recently - both were brand-new with a factory install of Vista (a laptop and a desktop). Blue Screen of Death was the rule and not the exception. My irrational hatred of MicroSoft is deeply rooted in personal experience.
