It's pretty simple: humans are a social species, and consequently those who manage to get at the top of the social pyramid are better off than the others. Human skills allow you to "use" other people to improve your position... If you can do a job very well, you can provide for yourself. If someone else is able to "use" your work for himself he can too, and can "use" multiple people's work as it requires less time than actual work, therefore multiplying his gain. That's how management works.
Many people can fix a refrigerator, and any technician in the field can do it. Same goes for the car.
But try replacing an iPad (or whatever, it's not like Apple's the only problem here) screen without "certified training".
Same as above, Agility 3, OS X on a 13" MBP, 5 months.
Heavy usage, we're talking about 12 hours or more monday-friday. A couple of hours on Saturdays and Sundays.
It's not my only drive though, data is stored on an HDD which replaced the DVD unit.
Yeah, I know your position is desperate, but seriously, Celsius can't be rounded? And EVERYONE knows that body temperature is around 36C, that -10C is freaking cold and so on.... And if you want to play games, c'mon, water freezing at 32F? Boiling at 212F?
There's a reason the whole world uses Celsius.

Yeah, we can see how much Windows changed over the years.
Not all is fair in war, and this is not war
Yeah, but desktops are being replaced by notebooks and tablets, so power consumption is very important nowadays!
Uhm... microchip.com?
First of all, Foxconn is from Taiwan, not China.
You mean the Taiwan which is officially named "Republic of China"?
2025? With the rising oil prices, I hope I'll be driving an electric by then!
No, but my desire for entertainment shouldn't be the driver of waste.
It's not "desire for entertainment, it's the human nature.

4. The engineers should be creating planes conceived for sexual intercourse that go into an area of space designated for said activity.
You should be happy! Sounds like something from Fallout, maybe we'll get to play it in real life!
But they don't have no-shoot contracts!

I think you need to differentiate between "noticed" nice things and "unnoticed" nice things.
The word "bricking" is used for electronic devices which can't be fixed by taking them apart. With a car you'd just change the ECU or whatever.
Well, "people" didn't even know about the problems with online privacy. Now the media will talk about it.
Even with flaws, it's a step in the right direction. Hopefully this will make people more aware of the issue.

It also occasionally becomes several meters long.
i think you mean exactly 37C. Unless you're starting to suffer from hypothermia.
No. At 37 I have a fever.
And trust me, I generate quite a bit of heat.

Yes. I find it's much better now.
That would be "Signor Motti"
The first part was flawless.
Don't know, maybe it could be... A good OS?

But that only works if there are multiple people connecting to the internet through the same IP as you, or if you use a proxy or Tor.
