    And how will you switch to nuclear without oil? You do realize that you need to do this well before the oil starts running out. As for the food, You do realize that the vast majority of modern agriculture is based not only on cheap energy for transport but also on loads of oil for pesticides and fertilizer.

    So a society based on getting an absurd amount of our needs, energy and food to name a couple, from a finite resource, oil, is sustainable? I do not follow your logic.

    This would be a valid argument if it were not for the fact that you completely made up your supporting premiss. You cannot just say that most people are in jail for worse crimes than selling drugs and have it be believed, we need some back up for your statements.

    You misunderstand what propaganda by the deed means.

    It means that you inspire through your actions and not your words.

    This can include violent acts, but does not need to.

    When basing an arguement on an incident that occured, you must be ready to give proof that the facts are as you say or said arguement is completely void of merit.

    Put simply: This is an anecdote meant to give an impression about activists, there is no proof that this sstory is true. Therefore said impression of activists is a load of bullshit.

    I remember being in europe trying to act the cosmopolitan converting everything to metric. The canadians started getting really annoyed and told me to just use miles.

    And I was good at the conversion, too.
