Explain to me why Microsoft should be supporting for ZoneAlarm at all, regardless of its popularity? it's not Microsoft's responsibility to make sure CheckPoint's software runs on their systems - it's CheckPoint's.
In 2002 or 2003 while living in Pasadena, my roommate and I were cleaning, and tried to move our N64 from the floor to a shelf. Under it, we found a brown mass which turned out to me a massive clump of these ants. We hosed them in insecticide, cleaned up the mess, and figured it was just a freak occurrence. A few days later I found a similar clump completely engulfing the powerhead on a small tank of cichlids. Being that cichlids will eat anything, I used a water bottle and hosed them all into the tank to be devoured. I had to replace the powerhead afterwards, and the N64 never worked right again.
The complex wrote it off as a side-effect of the recent heavy rain, and did nothing.
>If they were both profitable, why allow a merger?
because neither is profitable, nor have they ever been. Both of these companies bleed cash like a menstruating hemophiliac.
That's why you should run a local ntpd server and sync your machines to it instead of having all your nodes sync to some external ntp source. Sync the master, and let your client machines sync to it.
...and hates it. She complains about the interface to the unit itself, hates playlists, as well as the interface to the computer - the Zune software. She despises the fact that the Zune software indexes and imports whatever it finds and that she can't delete media from the Zune outside of the PC-ased Zune software. In her opinion the no-name, cheap-ass, 1g flash-based MP3 player she won in a company raffle vastly outperforms her Zune in every way that matters to her, namely; she can manage it on a filesystem level when she plugs it into her PC, there is no DRM so she can listen to her e-books, and she does't have to learn a new software interface just to use it. As far as she's concerned, it's a drive letter when she plugs it in and everything she puts there, she can listen to when she unplugs it. When the Zune behaves like that, it'll be viable. Until then, it's junk.
Their Postal franchise has been banned in several countries (11 for the first Postal, at least 2 for the second), and they've offered downloadable copies of the game since '05, I believe.
Very true. I work in a shop the does a lot of high-end data visualization processing and every single one of our (400+ here and more globally) Linux workstations utilizes nVidia GPUs and cards.
When you find yourself in a fair fight, it's time to reevaluate your tactics.

"Prove it."
>Whatever you can get out of the poopchute the fastest is the most efficient.
So we should power the spacecraft with laxative burritos?
Linux has been support on POWER since POWER4, iirc ;-)

I wonder how much better off everyone would be if we could protect them from themselves!

They're already doing that.
Why should a dying business model be saved? What makes it different from any other business who's time has passed?

>Are more poignant songs heavier?
:)
Depends on the genre
Yes, but is it blacker than the blackest black times infinity?
I really wish I had mod points. This is seriously funny.
Didn't work for me. of course, I just today got the IMAP change, and so I think I'm one of the accounts permanently behind the curve.
So, can projects threatened by patent infringement suits now move development to the EU?

Couldn't you just learn to say, "No" instead?

>No matter how innocent it may seem that's no way to have a proper discussion.
You must be new here.
And, by that token, every 15 year old girl taking nude pictures of herself SHOULD at least be TRIED for child pornography.
I'd have to see the pictures before I could really decide whether or not that's fair.
...so for the first time this week, I can drink away my day and not have to be at work hungover the next day. Happy SAAD.
