The term "graduate" means different things in US and India. You can hold a 'diploma' that's 10+3. This 'diploma' isn't considered a graduate in the US. It's not a degree because it's shy of the typical 4 year course structure. It could just mean they have a 3 year 'degree' than a 4 year bachelor's degree. Your assumption is flawed.
1 year of additional education can make a lot of difference if you're a developer or something else, but for a help desk job, I doubt it would add much value. Also, if you have a 4 year degree, why wouldn't you aim for a dev job?
Not to mention these need to be charged. TFA shows a pair being "induction charged".
Know, what pair of glasses doesn't need to be charged? The normal kind!
What happens when you're in the middle of an important conference/meeting and these give in?
"Uhmmm.... excuse me, I'm sorry, I can't sign this document, cause, ummm... my glasses just ran out of juice so I can't read the fine print."
Their you tube channel shows a side by side comparison of how images look through normal vs their glasses.

I don't wear glasses, so I don't know how true the facts they state so actually are.
Does the original image on the left, in the video actually look sharper to anyone else than the remastered one?
I find the remastered one looks blurry.:S
What uses can this possibly have? The material is "exotic" so probably extremely expensive. Rotating it at tremendous speeds proves what?
Yes, its strong enough, but what do we put these on display in malls? Just asking...
So now stalking is officially a profession. "Don't call us stalkers! We believe in the well being of our clients so we want to stop crime before it happens. We are doing a noble deed here."
Yeah, that makes sense. Tomorrow you're going to fart while I'm eating. I should kidnap you and throw you in a river to prevent my lunch from being ruined.
You can have your browser not fetch flash and thus circumvent that problem. You can enable it for sites and even better specific content that you need. It's not a always on solution. But it helps at times. And in my experience, websites like kongregate work just fine. IMO, the mistake that people make is to think of flash on mobile devices the same way as they think of flash on their computers. I'm not defending flash or how bad it's implementation is, esp. on linux, but it's not as bad as people make it sound if you understand it's advantages and stick to those.
The OS doesn't support that unfortunately. Right now as a dev, you can access what you want and how you want, as long as you request for permission in the manifest.
Wake me up when we find intelligent life. No, seriously, I'm not being sarcastic. I really really really want to see/meet alien life. I'm sick of the retarded humans.
Domestic violence against one = jail,
International violence (war) against millions = medals.
We've been hearing about on board storage for eons now. Is this going to be yet another, look we can put this on the motherboard itself and all these magical things will happen announcement followed by disappearance of the technology, followed by yet another, look we can...
This is probably going to get modded down but oh well.
I've used McAfee on a laptop for about a year now and I've found it's worked quite satisfactorily. It does not slow down the computer half as much as norton does. In fact, it's barely noticeable. The suite did a good job at blocking malicious stuff. The interface was alright for standard users. Adding port rules was a pain though. But overall, it wasn't as bad an AV as the comments here indicate.
I think it's the need of the day. Given how horrible air travel is becoming every day, there needs to be another option.
Trains are more comfortable too. I've found 3 things problematic with train travel in the US 1. speed- It takes about 2 days to get from Seattle to LA. 2. Costs are at times way higher than those of flights. 3. Schedule & frequency- There's got to be more of them and they have to be at convenient times.
4 in the morning is neither here nor there.
Most of it doesn't indicate a mindset, it points towards lack of knowledge. What's cool and what's in differs from generation to generation, facts don't. Berlin wall happened a long time ago and I know about it. I do know who Beethoven is. What points towards a mindset is that others find me weird because I listen to Beethoven, Mozart, Pink Floyd and Nirvana. I'm in my early twenties, btw. May be the younger generation needs to work on the near past history then?
Any piece of technology, no matter how innocent, useful, or benign, can and will find it's way in to porn. Porn industry is like kanye.. Imma really happy for you and Imma let you be used in other areas, but porn industry got them best money of all time. OF ALL TIME!
I was imagining 25 people pedaling their asses off and lifting a substantial amount over the ground.

Has anybody considered that it could be an alien race making planets (and therefore mass) invisible and just fucking with us?
Yes, because we all remember our Doctor's prescriptions in almost illegible handwriting, don't we?
I love the one where he has a tape that plays with that question. He picks the phone and leaves the receiver on that machine. Hilarious!

I wonder how long before "Pay us and we'll keep others from finding information about you" kinda companies show up.

You're doing good in this economy, pay your fair share, you privileged prats. Or go live in India or China where you outsource all your jobs to.
It always comes down to outsourcing jobs doesn't it?

EA has something like this going on. I'm not sure they're doing it, but apparently pre-owned games will need to pay a 10$ fee if they want to play online. http://www.tomsguide.com/us/ea-project-ten-dollars-dlc,news-5797.html
you so get sarcasm don't you!

Buy your competition and then kill their products. This seems familiar. Where have I heard this one before....
