Let alone other platforms, AmigaOS, BeOS, Haiku, Hurd, MiNT ? Not even all Linux are supported (tried it in Linux-ppc or Linux-arm ?). flash sites do not deserve the name "website". The web is about interoperability.
While it's true for userland code (apps) it's usually not as easy to replace the actual OS, due to total lack of specs... Try porting NetBSD or Haiku to them... Except for the FreeRunner maybe:)
I was just wondering that. We know the moon is getting further 3,8 cm per year, but we don't yet have any other such measurement for our neighbours. Though it's harder putting a reflector on the surface of jupiter:) How about Mars btw ? In any case, it shouldn't happen for the next million year unless Bender's friends do fart too much all in one direction;)
I know there are many solar systems with inhabitable planets in the galaxy and others, I know it! I've seen the documentary on TV! What was it called... hmm Stargate, yes, that's it! And the Ancients seeded life over all of them, they said so in Stargate Atlantis! I suppose they didn't watch TV enough to have missed such a proof.
I had a WD400 that died long ago (had bad sectors, managed to save everything though), RMAed it to germany (I'm in france), they sent back a refurbished one. It's still working, mostly, but since I got it it sometimes locks up and makes funny noises. So I only use it to store video and mp3s as I don't want to risk data on it. I should really have sent it back right away.. now it's long since warranty has passed. I had to buy a WD800 to backup this one when it died, but I'll definitely not buy WD anymore. But then again, it seems every other brand does the same. Anyone knows better ?
Is it possible to have that video in something else than a proprietary crappy format from M$ ? VLC doesn't play that here. And I'm quite sure that Ti84 doesn't either.
And? Should this be an explanation for what I see as a moot point and others are trying to fuzz about? At least I know what I'm talking about, unlike the trollers around.
That was only to illustrate the fact that no company is supposed to do business on illegal stuff, yet they have no reason to give you proof of that, you are supposed to assume they are. And if they aren't, well it's up to DOJ and friends. That whole topic is overrated, and just kept artificially alive mainly because some ppl in the "community" think they are important enough that they have the right to know about deals that aren't supposed to be made public.

This is exactly what we've been doing in BeOS for YEARS. Just the database is the filesystem itself, so you can query for them from the file manager and the shell even.
That's the problem with all solutions involving an external data collection program, just like locate, they never get in sync.
Why on earth don't people use BFS ?
Since I have no use for google to search my own files, I'd rather mount google to search the web itself:D

Hmm maybe, but in any case, never forget your towel!

I run BeOS too, one more they won't have. ;)
But beware there are 2 known viruses on BeOS

that we are the second evolution of the Ancients, who left the galaxy several millenia ago.

Do you ask Microsoft to see their secret contracts with SCO, their arrangements with Sun, IBM, Apple and others for world domination ??
That legal "question" is becoming a real troll with all the bells and whistles.
Do you really think that could work this way?
Would Be, Inc still be in business they would sue them over what they stole. Oh, and Apple too.
"new" tools ROTFL.
java is getting there...
I would at least try querying :)
Let's just hope Bush be in his ranch by that time... :P)

That's simply not true.

BeOS is multiuser, simply it was never activated because it had security holes, and most apps didn't run well on it.

done since 1970 in the pyrénées, much bigger, and by Archimede way before
In any case, there is prior art for the zooming icons, see BeOS' Twitcher:u i-2.html
