I love driving fast as much as the next guy but if the government really wants us to drive slower why doesn't it simply mandate speed limiting devices? Why is it legal to build cars that can drive 3x the maximum speed limit?
Transmission + Automatic automatically downloads my shows, XBMC automatically looks up their information and the iPhone XBMC app makes browsing and playing shows simply beautiful. As an added bonus I can use Air Video to watch the shows on my phone whether at home via WiFi or anywhere else via 3G. I don't watch much web video but Boxee is decent for that if necessary. Jaadu VNC for iPhone makes a great catch-all remote. iTunes and iPhone Remote for music.
What makes one worse than the other isn't the reach of the censorship but the type of information being censored. I hate Big Content as much as the next guy but I can much more easily accept that they want to stop what they perceive to be copyright violations globally than China's blocking of historical facts and muting of dissidents. Let's call a spade a spade here, at least in the US you can easily find out about the shitty things the US has done in the past.
I think if I had the choice of keeping my body healthy by medicine or by swapping it for a type that there were no diseases of any kind for, I'd probably choose the latter.
He didn't ask how to avoid computers being fucked up, he asked how to avoid botnets. Since there aren't botnets for OSX or Linux, using either is a reasonable solution.
The title is wrong - the article tells us why tablets have failed in the past but also how the iPad has corrected those mistakes. The upshot is that this tablet WON'T suck, and a lot of people WILL buy one.
Yep! Dunno if direct linking to torrents is allowed here but search torrentz.com and you'll find DVD screener rips already. That's not really my point though - point is theaters and merchandising will always be among the ways the studios can profit from their movies.
The router is impressive and all but bandwidth will inevitably increase with time anyway so really it's time that is the death knell for Hollywood, not any particular bit of gear.

I don't want to buy them, I just want to continue stealing them.
The difference is, even our retarded politicians would ignore the chief whereas they frequently bend over for pushy governments.
That does seem to be the American way - invade the oil laden areas first then spread to the rest.
According to TFA, 960x640.
The front facing camera would be in addition to the higher resolution camera at the rear. It would be used for video conferencing.

Those are contradictory. I'd use VNC or RDP if I wanted it to run somewhere else and still interact with it.
...on the iPad? ;)
Not that there wasn't already enough proof...

Nuff said.

Gee thanks, now when I eat fruits or veg I'm going to be thinking of bugs having sex on it.

Well let's see, Avatar just made a billion dollars in the theaters. So there's that.
True, we're not all from the US. Go Canada!
...in 45 bytes - Impressive!
Not all GPS software downloads from the network. I use Navigon for my iPhone and it installs maps on the device.
Good thing for deforestation, that big circular river would never have given it away.
So it would seem. It says "Plain Old Text" and converts linefeeds so I didn't expect it to require entity codes.
Thanks to /. for removing the leading less-than symbol ;)
