Right, because the only way to become a real adult is to have a kid. What the fuck? If that's your reason for having kids, you probably aren't mature enough to be having kids.
Because "compromise", in today's political climate, no longer means both of us meeting at the half-way point, but rather means you compromising and accepting my side of things.
I find it amusing that Democrats can't seem to talk about Nader without resorting to childish name calling. Great way to win unaffiliated voters to your side!
Oh fuck you. I ride the light rail from that station everyday, and it's filled with all varieties of people. "urban despair" is just code for black people. Grow up, they're not going to bite you.
Haven't you heard? We've moved the posts again. It's no longer about whether or not CO2 is causing it, it's now about whether or not this is a good thing.
Even with the mandate, insurance companies will still look for and find loopholes, because those loopholes save them money and are therefore profitable, and at the end of the day, insurance companies are still companies, and profit is the name of the game.
Al Gore is, or at least was, a politician. In the U.S., we have what is known as a two party system. Even though those two parties are often in agreement on many issues, the people who vote for those parties can be extremely emotional about their party. Consequently, to maybe 50% of the U.S. population, Al Gore is first and foremost a "Democrat" and therefore the enemy. This makes it incredibly easy to ignore everything he says as lies and liberal propaganda. And that will never change. The issue has now become politicized, there's no going back.
Do those parties advocate for a capitalistic society without government intervention?
No, what you described is known as "liberalism", which, in the US, is generally associated with the center-left.
I believe you are getting in a huff over what is known as "a joke".

Crossbows. In my day, we actually had to draw the string back with our arms, not like today's lazy generation.

Hey, this is Slashdot, where any code monkey is an expert on every scientific field!
Just because you aren't reading about something on Slashdot doesn't mean it isn't happening.
So in other words, it's easy to spot an idiot. They're just someone with a differing political viewpoint. Got it.
Interestingly, cetaceans also are hairless and lack bacula. Maybe they are actually god's chosen?

Hilarious!

But all my things are cheap Chinese crap. Who in their right mind would want to buy that used?
Yeah, because there's no germs in slot B...

Brilliant parody of Slashdot editor's grammatical skills.

I hate that Noone guy, always complaining about everything.
Assassinations?
In America it does.
As I understand it, the test in America is "Have you got $50?" and does not require any knowledge or skill to pass it.
You've got it wrong. In addition to the $50, you also have to prove you can parallel park between two orange cones.
