EA Games hasn't been good for a while anyway. I've bought several of their games within the past few years and have been sorely disappointed every time.
Funny how people always bitch and moan about the downhill trend of whatever they've been a part of for any significant length of time. If all the whiny veterans were right, everything would be steadily, and quickly, driving towards mediocrity. Just because there's a lot of shit out there doesn't mean that there are no genuinely good games being made.
Perhaps. But I'd rather have my video game console actually play games, and so far, all I've heard from developers is that the PS3 is a pain in the ass to support. They've even lost Metal Gear Solid 4 as an exclusive, which some people cited as their reason for buying a PS3 in the first place. Sony seems to be pulling a Nintendo and losing out on their games library and third party support.
I'm not saying that a 20 year old game about a plumber being rehashed every couple years is still original, but isn't Bungie only confirming Miyamoto's accusations by saying that they will response in side-scrolling style?
