I'm pretty sure that the 60s and 70s prove your point. Revolution was budding up everywhere in the wake of the counter-culture movement. What did the government do? They sent spies in, partook in character assassination (if not unproven physical assassination), and allowed the National Guard to murder innocent protesters and bystanders.
There are too many non-secrets that have stifled democracy. Let's try to focus on those first instead of potentially putting innocent folks in harms way.
Innocent? INNOCENT?! HAHAHAHAHA!!!
Are you really saying that soldiers, occupying countries overseas, are innocent? XD
As for the smug cyclists/bikers out there, how much does it cost when a truck or SUV hits you?
It doesn't cost, it pays! You can always sue the dumb bitch that was driving her over sized SUV while tapping out a text message on her iPhone with those ridiculous fake nails on.
As far as Windows goes, I've been in the habit of moving the Recycling Bin off of my desktop for years now. It wastes space in an area that I like to keep as clean and free from icon as possible. If I'm not actively working on a project, it shouldn't be on my desktop. It's kind of like my real world tables, I suppose. Where is the Recycling Bin to go if not on the desktop? Well, I put it in the Start Menu where you would normal have all of those useless "recently used" links.
My schedule worked out to the point that I only had to take one day off of work. Of course... the entire thing took several hours, over the course of about five days, which ran for two months. It probably wouldn't have been worth the time or trouble for most people, and that's exactly what the cops count on. Personally, the satisfaction I had afterward made up for it all. But that's just me, and I love sticking it to the government, and especially to cops. Never mind that the circumstances were highly questionable and my pride and honor were at stake. Besides, because of it, my record remains absolutely spotless.;)
This doesn't even have anything to do with the GPS itself. You're pretty much always going to get out of a simple speeding ticket if you take it that far.
The one time I was ever cited a speeding ticket, I jumped through all of their hoops (so-called mayor's court twice for the tiny village before finally getting to the real court) before being told out in the hallway that the case was being dismissed because they "wouldn't have time for it today". Of course, I showed up on time on each occurrence, was well dressed, and had a briefcase full of documents showing just how fucked up the timeline had been in relation to my trial. Between my general presentation and the way I had handled the village's mayor earlier when he tried to dick me around, I'm sure they were in no mood to waste their time.:P
TCM or AMC are much more likely to show Sci-Fi classics than SyFy.
Indeed.
I can't help but notice how all channels are pretty much the same nowadays. The Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, and even Food Network have so much overlap it's sometimes hard to tell one apart from another. SyFy, Spike, and G4 are all essentially the exact same channel too. They cater to low-brow entertainment, primarily made up of Xbox-playing frat boys. It's especially sad, because I recall when both Sci-Fi and ZDTV (later TechTV, now G4) were sources of great entertainment.
I guess it just goes to show why I don't subscribe to any sort of television service anymore. My tastes haven't changed, TV just sucks anymore.
The original Legend of Zelda was fabulous for it's time. I still enjoy it today, but that is undoubtedly influenced by nostalgia to some degree or another. That said, "A Link to the Past" has always been my favorite. All of the 3D installments feel pretty much the same, even if Wind Waker was fantastic to look at.
The game was enjoyable enough, but not exactly memorable. It made good use of the Quake3 engine at the time, but the third-person view hindered a lot of the gameplay.
See, I didn't even find 300 to be exciting. I felt that it was pretty boring. Everything was entirely predictable and even the action sequences were dull due to their over stylized presentation. Besides, the disregard for a historical event kept nagging at the back of my mind. To be fair though, it wasn't half as boring as Sin City.
When I think of editing save games, I think of unlocking hidden levels and acquiring characters that otherwise require stupid conditions be met. What you're suggesting is simply cheating. I don't see how most save game edits could give one a drastically unfair advantage over others, unless it's an RPG or something.
Hey, some of us play Call of Cthulhu! Don't lump us in with those Magic losers!
I wonder why religions even have made sex to look like a bad thing.
Control. Why else?

No, we can't expect it to just happen. Unfortunately, it's so far gone that you'll never get it back by working within the confines of it's rules.
It's the same old story... Murder in a costume is a crime. Murder in a uniform is heroic.
No, that would require a working government.
Who would steal their CDs from Wal-Mart? All of their discs are censored.
It is better to die on your feet than live on your knees.

Haha. I was looking at the post above that, which states 'Would you like to know more?". My confusion. :P

It must be an American thing. It's make sense though, as a "Christian nation" it must be easier to except fantasy than it is science fiction.
Nope, definitely Starship Troopers. The themes and general mock-propaganda were very similar between the two films however.
I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that...

No, love doesn't work. If history has taught us anything, love doesn't work for or against Christianity...
Oh, I agree that the independent targeting and the melee in particular would have been difficult to pull off as a FPS.
Honestly though, I don't think they succeeded in making the platforming elements work very well even in the third-person.
WTF is wrong with people that think they need to update their Facebook status at all? Not just after car accidents...
