I think, it's not that sex ruins or saves relationships. It matters if both people in the relationship are the type that can use sex for positive or negative reasons. The problems come up with one or the other is not on the same page.
though, it would be nice if HBO Go was a standalone package like Netflix and Hulu.
With HBO Go, Netflix, Hulu etc, the only things keeping me from cutting the cable is live sports and maybe news (though I get most of my news online).
It's not just about the price of the software seat. Support is the biggest need. Companies do not want to staff their own IT department to support 3rd party software. If they can call up MS to get shit done then thats what they will choose. Why is redhat one of the distros that does make it into the business world? Support.
this is so dumb! When we started using cars and not horses we didn't make the car simulate the galloping of a horse! The way something looks and feels and sounds should be appreciated for its own qualities.
Open API is just....an API. I think the issue is with the way people and companies and developers have been talking about web app API's.
So it's either a trap (or general foul play) or just a term that is coming into the vernacular of the internets. Which is more important of an issue though is my question. Companies being bad? or people calling things by different(misleading) names?
I mean, consoles are already upgrades. Upgrade from xbox to xbox 360, ps1/2/3, gamecube/wii etc. Just because it doesn't involve swapping out parts doesn't mean it's not an upgrade. Xbox360 is kinda backwards compatible with xbox games, so doesn't that net the same effect of an xbox with swapped guts?
Consoles just have the power of complete lateral upgrades instead of people upgrading at various times we do it all together. And don't we all like doing things together?
not quite. The soldier signs their body away in their contract with the military. A lot of R&D testing and ideas come from trying stuff out in the field with soldiers. Cut out the field trials and real life situations and you could throw all the money you want at R&D. Not too many research situations like that exist in civilian world.
This is all a bunch of people wishing Apple would be nice and make ebook publishing "just work". As currently formatting for the range of reading devices is a total bitch. Seriously, all the editing time is taken by formatting for each reader. So this Author software is just something that *could* have been great, instead its just cool for one platform. Does anyone think Apple is gonna intentionally make it easy for you to make money on everyone else's reader as well as their own? No, they will make their own platform the easiest because they want to sell iPads!
Though, I see no problem with it. It's just business.
Well pleasing everyone usually ends in pleasing no one. A company is tied to its branding and usually that means a need for a unified platform. The problem with this is to the general user/consumer a single platform offering too many choices becomes confusing. I think creating multiple brands to serve multiple needs would be the way to go. Google is in a position where it is riding all its work on the Google name. They could do well to split off service categories into different brand offerings. So offer Gmail and each individual app as separate apps under one Google brand and then Google+ with Gmail, calendar and all those apps integrated into one Google+ service as a separately branded offering. Ford shows a different face to Americans and Europeans. Many larger corporations diversify in their products using different brands under one parent company.
To the end user, the wrapping on the box actually does matter.
I think this is a move towards making Google+ their main service and not gmail. To laterally integrate their services everything tying to the G+ profile would make it simpler to use. Look at facebook. Messaging in fb takes a back seat as just a part of your account. G+ needs this to compete. facebook is just easier to use than G+ to the average user.
Sony, you are not Apple. Only Apple has the ability to do that.
I think Apple doesn't have that ability. They just don't shit on their customers the way Sony seems to always do. Nintendo tries to not shit on it's customers, though it does kinda not play well with 3rd party developers, essentially business customers. Microsoft tries to have as best a relationship with business partners and 3rd party developers as it can. This shows in ease of development on their platforms.
Nintendo needs to look towards not just innovating, but focusing its relationships with developers and other business partners. Sony needs to learn to finally be innovative. They just pick whats the best hardware at the time and spew something out. This attitude shows in their controller design. They don't think about ergonomics and user interfaces at all. So much so that their controller looks the same for every generation of their console history. The fact that someone will be using their device is an afterthought. I just think that Sony is the most arrogant and lazy company in the games industry. They still sell enough after being idiots so customers are enabling them too!
The worst kind of Kool-Aid is your own.
If only there was a way to raid with Junior.

Stoners don't like to hang out with sober people...

Why is it so difficult to make a working machine for voting? ATM's don't seem to fuck up. I guess your money matters more than your vote.

build a thing that lays out a cnc mill for digging!
communism makes some assumptions that don't coincide with how humans work together in reality.

Time to get rich, boys!

Worse than speeding.
Now, this is a $150 textbook we are talking about.
Don't they cap the text books at $14.99?
seriously. It's a matter of scale. That corruption in Peru, it destroys your home. Corruption in the US destroys nations.

Yea, late to the game definitely. I mean, I have other experience behind me but I wish I learned what I am learning now a lot earlier.
