what if your screen that has a keyboard is flat on the table? I run 3 monitors, one of them is a Cintiq that i keep flat or angled up a little on the desk and 2 screens up behind for things that don't need direct interaction with the pen. I could see that becoming a keyboard if the screen was wider.
Or if the whole desk was a multitouch device. less like Surface and more like Tron would be cool.
this is assuming this "smart" person has actual vision, charisma and humanity not just high technical performance. You are asking if he is a leader or not as well as smart.
but you can only measure growth from the past till present. Future projections are useful but not the exact answer. Things don't move linearly always. Growth doesn't happen forever.
Looking at quarterly earnings, or company growth quarter to quarter doesn't give long term answers, especially publicly traded companies which are essentially required to think in the short term.
Why do you think the corporation system is putting a strain on the people? The lack of the humanity factor in a corporations goals puts a general strain on society. We need a better for of organization to get things done now that society has reached this size and complexity.
mobile computing has always not been considered to be computing just because of the power difference between workstations and mobile devices. But it's gotten to the point that what you can carry in your pocket is enough to do the same functions as what you would use in a office computer which blurs the lines of what people want to refer to devices as.
There is really no difference! they are all computers! as they compute!
people is dumb.
what about input devices? keyboard vs multitouch should require different UI's. In the PC world it was always assumed that you would have a mouse and keyboard. There are other input devices that are unique and niche and as such have to get traction to get supported by various software. Lack of standardization is bad for the users and developers. Not the vendors. If it was bad for the companies pulling this shit then this would change right away.
The main thing I would say about SGU is that it's not a bad show and it got me into the Stargate series without having previously seen the other shows. It didn't assume that I am a rabid fan of Atlantis or SG1 or whatever. I also like starships and space battles. So it worked for me. I guess there isn't enough of me out there : /
should be called Googleheim.
ugh i wish I caught all the mod points!
I dunno what to say, I'm busy suckin on plant juice.
If I had a kingdom, I would be fuckin rich and buy all the air guitars I want! I would then go on an Excellent Adventure.
ugh i want an air guitar!
really, a kingdom? I'm sure any actual king would not say the same thing.
That's why he is more admired than the Pope. Bill Gates is Jesus Christ!
vendor dependence and manufacturer strong arming are two different things.
I wouldn't call it "world policing" its more of a "world meddling".

As with Alienware and the like. You are paying for an expensive case and logo.
