That is definitely the worst thing... TV shows shifting by an hour twice a year, and not remembering if we're on the same time as Manitoba or Alberta. And how far away EST is at any given time.
I didn't read the article of course, but by what you're saying this could be just an easier way to write the plot. Instead of needing 4 different types of terrorists etc, you have one for all of the games, with Sam Fischer appearing as a cameo in a Rainbow 6 cutscene.
I've only ever played the Splinter Cell games so I'm just waiting for that emo Sam to come back so I can sneak around.
I beat GH2 on Hard, got most of the way through on Expert and I was satisfied with that. In GH3 I think I got stuck on the last set on Hard and maybe 3rd last on Expert. Then it just wasn't fun. So I stopped playing, didn't spend hours in practice mode. I think you're missing the point of hard for the sake of being hard, and hard because it's more challenging and rewarding. Same thing happened to me in Halo 3, but I pretty much bumped it down just because I wanted to get it over with.
Maybe if Microsoft laughed at you when you called in to say your Xbox was faulty, then this would all be true. I bought my 360 knowing very well that it had these problems. I also knew it would be easily replaced. No harm done. I like the games, and just playing Wii or PC doesn't quite work for me. And yes my Xbox did break recently.
Ya I just started the second Baroque book and I'm already bored again. I don't know I don't see the point of it. But I'll finish it and the third just because I'm like that.
Snow Crash was good, the other ones I don't like nearly as much. So I'm in no hurry to buy this, in hardcover at least.
Not nearly as exciting, but if it's the middle of winter and your office building goes cold, blame Microsoft. I know our "server" (of sorts) runs Windows. And as far as I know we do fire alarms too which is scarier.
Of course I have more problems with XP, Java, and SQL on my laptop than anything that could be attributed to the building system.
If you read the article, it seems like this won't stop Best Buy from upgrading your RAM or HD. Just stop the jackass vigilante a few posts up from running his child porn finding programs.
I haven't played my Wii in a long time. In fact my sister has it. Of course I bought Halo 3 and have barely touched that. Apparently I'm just addicted to WoW. Go me.
Microsoft is like the publisher for Halo 3 right? So they have nothing to do with direct retail... This makes sense how?
Wait never mind. I just realized who sent the letter.
Why would a Halo release in September? Halo 1 = Nov 11, Halo 2 = Nov 9, Halo 3 = Nov 13?
I was really looking forward to some Mass Effect this summer though. One of the major reasons I bought my 360.
I don't know if I'm alone in this, but I thought the AI in FEAR was pretty awesome. Maybe because I thought crashing through windows and waiting for me in ambush was cool, but whatever.
But yes, most of the time they're dumb. Call of Duty 3 really pissed me off for that in particular. I guess we just have to make sure we buy good games when they come out.
I wrote to my own MP, another Conservative member. I figured it would be better than getting a reply about how I don't think of the children, or some other bullshit.

I'm sure any of the Caribbean countries are exactly like that, though I've only been to Dominican Republic so I'm no expert.
So the rest of the world has somewhere to vacation without running into Americans?
And now the page is broken for me. The fan site or whatever it is has a post addressing the international viewing problems, which is encouraging.
I would probably buy it if it worked because I have $20 in the account I'll never use. Stupid Hulu. Stupid iTunes. Bah.

Because nearly 7 million Wiis are already sold?
