Blackberry has incredible resistance to change. That's why they were left in the dust by Apple and Google. They might get around to repositioning the company in ten years but unfortunately they won't be around then.
I wonder how many programmers are going to complain that they only coded for leap seconds and never bothered allowing for the reverse. It'll happen one day.
The horseless carriage was a novelty at first. I mean, who wants to ride in a machine that has no mind of its own? Something that can't even avoid minor obstacles on its own?
23:59:59 is normally followed by 00:00:00 (or 24:00:00). In this case it goes 23:59:59, 23:59:60, and then 00:00:00. One second gets added at the end of the day.
I use a TI-85 emulator because that's the calculator that I used in high school and university and I'm used to it. The non-skeuomorphic calculators on the Android app store all suck. I swear there are only maybe two that get order of operations right when you type it in, and they all have other critical flaws. 99% of the calculators can't even do square roots let alone anything slightly complicated. They all use ÷ as a symbol for division and x for multiplication instead of / and *. It drives me nuts that I can't, even in 2015, get a proper calculator that isn't a skeuomorph of something from the 80's.
Pricing isn't the only issue, it's availability. The media companies want to control how you watch something, when you watch something, how many times you watch it, what quality it is. The best thing about pirated movies is that they're far far better than what you can buy. No ads, no 'must watch' content on a disc, you can play it on ANY device, and they often come with more subtitles.
Think people are just going to go search for a way to buy it? No. I haven't seen it on a store shelf anywhere, therefore it isn't for sale. I haven't seen an ad for it online therefore it isn't for sale. The reason google glass isn't selling is that IT ISN'T FOR SALE.
A few neurons don't 'know' anything either. Neither do a dozen neurons. Tens of billions of neurons however... Anyway, you'll be the one looking like a complete tard in fifty years when AI is working well and is considered one of mankinds greatest achievements. (fusion power however will still be twenty years away)

I've had an SSD in my desktop for years now. It's fine. I think that poster might have a sense of humour.
This is why I'll never use an SSD in my computer. They're just unreliable.
I didn't know Bill Gates had the ability to control ISPs in this way.

Don't forget the all important jet engine test. (you won't get that if you're not a Far Side fan)

XKCD has it covered: https://what-if.xkcd.com/26/
The problem is that you don't understand it.
What makes you think his grandfather is over fifty?

There's this thing called BitTorrent. It's a brand new technology for downloading... wait, they're telling me it's been out since 2001.

I looked it up. There's no program or app called Ok Google. It's called Google Now. No wonder everyone's confused.
If you think someone checking their phone is an incosiderate knob then you're probably in a permanent foul mood.
If you bring up 1984 as an example, then you have to bring up U2.
No I don't. You can if you want though.
Home of the financially weary.
So you must be around four years old then.

And the people that wrote the app store apps can't possibly disregard the option that you set. Are you at all understanding this issue?
Apps are set to auto-update. App stores control those apps. If they want to replace Gmail with Big Brother v 1.0 they can do that in an instant.
My composter helped me wreck a nice beach.
There are a lot of phones set to auto-update. That's pretty much all there is to it at this point.
