  1. Re:Nothing new here... on Yahoo's Amazing Disappearing Mail Servers · · Score: -1

Yahoo uses qmail with lots of patches, including tarpitting, the effects of which are accurately shown, but improperly interpreted, in this phony evaluation. Pure FUD.

This is absolutely the way DNS and domain name systems should be. Get ICANN out of the picture. Any arbitrary name can and should be supported.

  4. Scalar weapons on Is SETI a Security Risk? · · Score: -1

It is speculated by some that there is a component of scalar weapons that directly targets human physiological systems. The effects of the transmissions can cause confusion, disease, or even control and "program" individual behavior.

These are the same kinds of weapons used to create recent weather anomalies, hurricanes and earthquakes, and at the world trade center 9/11/2001.

  8. Terms of Use on An Experiment in A New Kind of Music · · Score: -1

Nice try, but the Terms of Use already assert copyright (use of content must be licensed and cannot be reproduced, rebroadcast, etc.) and prohibit mirroring, and automated/scripted access to the site.

  9. yes on NES Controller Laser Mouse · · Score: -1

But it takes forever. Most people assume the "desk" is the end of the line and you just get rocketed to death, but a carefully placed grenade at the lower right corner of the desk reveals stairs to the final level...

Of course you are more likely to get stuck some place and have to reset after hours of playing this crappy game.

Not like I needed to tell you that or anything, but it's true. In an era where PCs are a household appliance, video game consoles sell like hotcakes, and everyone's grandma knows what the Internet is, why does Hollywood insist on making incredibly stupid computer-based movies that insult your intelligence?
