    They have everythin in the place --

    N big (really BIG) screens
    Projectors (well, this one is missing but still)
    Network
    Popcorn

    Now, they can organize a Nightly Tournaments!
    (Quake, CS, whatever)

    Each hall has 1 player and friends watchin', no need to bump each other lotsa space , sit and relax watching it on big screen and eat popcorn.

    And sound, ohmygod, sound gonna be really GOOD!

    If it works as supposed (by law) to, email_removal@response.etracks.com will add spammers address to the list of removing, effectively removing this address and spammer's kissmeplenty20022@hotmail.com from the list.

    But if works as it usually works, you effectevely created a cycled list of selfsubcribing spam lists!

    Ok, pure speculation on my side, but anyway...

    How about that they will prove (remember, big guys with big buck are there) that Net IS responsible for some piracy and as follow the revenue drop from big 5 (or 6, don't remember). What is obvious next step? Next step is some sort of TAX on net usage/lines/routers/net related stuff to cover these losses. Just the way like CD taxed and for the same reasons!

    It is getting freedomer and freedomer every day :)

    I do not get it. Why slashdot all of sudden interested in AMD (or Intel) chips that they crank out every month or so with new Hz and nothing new inside? Just to get "imagine beowulf claster of clasters of these"? Is it "stuff that matters"?

    Beside tomshardware there are a lot more sites with nice covering of whatever you want (http://xbit-labs.com for example).

    Yeah, right, toms is heavy loaded with ads (I think I never saw any site that has more per page ads), so may be slashdot decided to have 10% of revenue from it for just redirecting bunch of "cool folks" :) ?

    Couple years ago slashdot was much more "ahead of time", I used to find "things" there first, and after couple days notice same references or articles on other sites. Now it is opposite -- you find cool thing, and completely not sure if you will ever see discussion of this on slashdot (slashdot is famous for comments, not for articles).

    If 2 years is "lifetime" of modern PC, and you upgrade it, may be it is a time for slashers to upgrade to something cool or at least to be up to date? It is not a MTV, it should get better year to year...

    this happens every time new OS is released with every big ISP. for @Home: this way it was with Win2000, same happens with XP now.
