    ID Software and ENIX are S-C-R-E-A-M-I-N-G for this! It's almost impossible to spooge modern 3d games properly on the chintz that's coming out now. Surely more speed is a good thing if the power consumption and battery characteristics (high current degradation effects) remain good. Why suggest rubbish handset is better than a better one?

    That insurance statistic is from P&I insurance, you would need to look up "Loss Prevention." P&I Insurance companies compile these statistics (Lloyds still only do hull insurance and not cargo).

    I've read about quite a few studies in the media into causality between video game violence and criminal activities. They all said that there was none as I recollect. I wonder if there is there a purient reason why people must cast around to locate a brick to lob at video games (or television / film as used to occur in bygone eras). If you don't like video games, don't play them – that's the morally correct response as you are then not interfering with someone else’s property and personal boundaries.

    I used International Red Cross a standard prop for forced conversion to Christianity as part of a comedy anecdote, as this is an international running joke - explaining why most islamic revolutionaries started in the first place. Red Crescent would not work in this context as they are hardly likely to, by force or control of food stocks, force people to become Christians. They also have a clean record with respect to this internationally. Please re read the post and context and you will get my meaning. Thank you for taking an interest!

    With precision you are correct, and all the original spiegel implied linux in a phone, i.e. a Richard Stallman type platform. Whenever this notion appeared on this site everyone became exited, as you can recompile your own binaries on such a device – I still believe that this would be a good toy.

Learn to click and type fast , that's what I did BTW The Blue Ray versions of the Star Trek movies are now available on the Star Trek website – they have ditched the blurred versions and put out the high feng shuey originals like Spielberg did with Close Encounters (and re tinted Lucasarts still have to do).
