I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this yet. The UNO was featured on daily planet about a year ago. It was featured as one of popular science's top ten inventions.
They didn't invent it! they ripped off some 19yo's idea
both have the same logic in mind:
we have a great network/protocol with large amounts of legal content! Why should we destroy a perfectly good network/protocol just to keep out the pirates?
how did they conclude that sleep deprivation was the cause of death? perhaps it was the repeated shocks being administered, or the strobe lights, or the coffee they gave them
could this not be integrated into today's existing flip phones? It could charge when you open/close it and your battery would last longer. just think how many times some people open/close their phones to view or send a text message - that's a lot of juice that could be collected
I don't even want to know how many "cancel or allow" dialogue boxes they have added to this service pack
an OS that prompts you every 30 seconds to confirm your actions is hardly user friendly. Not only that, but when users a prompted so frequently they begin to just click through the dialogue box without reading it - thus making the system less secure AND a pain in the ass to use!
What are they basing these claims on? The number of bugs FOUND or the number of bugs FIXED? If it is the former then I can see how they may have been misled
