lousy encryption idea. I mean, all one has to do is add this to an OCR database in order to decipher the text. anything printed and mapped is in essence already broken.
Not for kids, I don't care if they are selling toys.. But it's an awesome movie, I had a blast.. nothing boring. intense and well done. This isn't your kid's Superman. And whether this is by design or not, you will see a lot of resemblance to Tom Welling's Clark Kent in this movie, in all the characters portraying Clark Kent (young and old). Especially at the end when Cavill's Clark Kent meets the Daily Planet staff. Strong story and great effects. Amazing action scenes.
there are some plot holes, but it's not that bad. I was surprised at how solid the writing was. However this is what I found.
The Kryptonian suits are supposed to be filtering everything in/out.
When their suit broke during battle, because they have no experience with the surges of powers they are getting, their senses become super-charged and makes them confused.
It means that while in the suits, there are no Yellow sun radiation, no atmosphere, nothing.
So, Kryptonians shouldn't have any powers, while in their suits.
I had no problems with the super-surges, but, I had a problem that they shouldn't have been able to fight Superman to a stand still while in the protections of their suits.
I need to see this movie again, I'm sure there are other things, but seriously, that seems to be the only thing I can think of which I found could be better handled. Not bad at all when all things are considered!
.. I would build robotic avatars and have them controlled from this end of the world. even if you had to make an outpost on the moon and when the 'lines' of sights were most favorable, have the robots be controlled by humans and start the building that way. get more samples, etc.. basically the first real mars exploration should be robotic as much as possible. so, we basically need to improve our automation technology at this end and not worry too much about the rest, until the return flight from mars with our robots and all the samples they could collect from every aspect could be analysed. And when I mean robots, I mean human like robots, or something with manual dexterity.
is that we have systems which are based on the assumptions of hetero couples for marriage, so same-sex data entry will fail, these are validation rules.
This has to change, but in the meantime, well, it will cause issues. grin and bear it.
And it's pretty cool, you need to use your brain waves in order to control the ball and make it move, so, in that respect, doing a bit everything eventually gets you pretty good at having control.
did the right thing. The truth is, I believe that MANY more Americans would be in favor of the government sifting through the information IF they were informed of such processes. The problem is transparency, or the lack of it actually. Covertly operating as they are doing, to me, is the real issue. That being said, I personally think that regardless of transparency, I've always assumed Big Brother was watching more than it should, but I've never let it bothered me because it would be just much ado about nothing.
Seems like MariaDB is the greatest thing after sliced bread, but, unless you are running your own server, many hosting services are still offering mySQL as the DB to use. I was going to check out MariaDB, but for now, unless I have a requirement from a client, it doesn't seem like its worth my time to use. It is still a WAMP and LAMP world out there for the most part.
but the Internet is the child of DARPA, the Internet's origin is definitively US. This was made first and foremost for passing military information. That the government is trying to use it for keeping tabs on everything, why are we so surprised? my only issue is that this should be transparent. But in the end, again, stop being surprised by this.
Yep, I agree with you and that was pretty much why I replied the way I did.
But if he's got too much free time, I can always pass him a few of my projects for him to do (since he's paid anyways) we can always keep him busy that way.
so, this is all new.. which is great, but, then again, what about the procedures they have been doing for the last little while, say like Lazik for example? Wouldn't this little bit of knowledge be important prior to sending to the surgery? Is this going to affect those procedures?
why is this on Slashdot? why are YOU on Slashdot if you need to ask a question like this? not being disrespectful, just curious... and then again, not really all that curious, perhaps just sarcastic.
Most of you posers want it all, but aren't willing to give anything for it in return. You make me sick. The Constitution is meant to evolve. It's made up of amendments. it was written in English, by people who then knew the language. It's an amazing piece of work and even those who wrote it, knew they couldn't foresee everything. That's why they are called AMENDMENTS. And the engine which powers this is called DEMOCRACY. The power of the voters.. But that went awry the moment laws were drafted in favors of special interest groups, instead of the actual people the Government is supposed to govern. That's called CORRUPTION. Anyways, as usual, we can agree to disagree. This was fun..
I'm not part of the problem, geez, YOU are. The times are changing, our laws are antiquated and technologies evolves. It's not complacency to recognize that nobody is bloody free. There is NO such thing as a 'free' society. There is a system of check and balances. Terrorism is well and alive and kicking. It happens now right here in the USA. So, we either give the people in charge the ability to let them do their jobs or we don't. There is always some corruption, we can't get away from that, but we can try and mitigate it. That being said, for the sake of my family and progeny, I, would rather sacrifice some of my privacy, if it helps keeping them safe and secure. Those of you who have a problem with this, you are misguided and crooks. I don't care.
Seriously.. Flamebait? You have to be kidding me. Our laws are antiquated AND yet, the threats and dangers we face are real. Acts of Terrors are here in the US and unfortunately, if you want to have the right to your privacy at the cost of the rights of everybody else to live, well, I can't agree with that, so: YES, YOU CAN'T HAVE IT ALL. Now for those of you who think I'm wrong, we can agree to disagree.

Wordsmith.. My personal favorite anyways.

Well, if he's an Apple based product, then he can't change his batteries uh? :)

= short life span for your CPU.. so, I'm not too worried..
well, thank god for the age of e-books! :)

then you don't believe in your country.
that putting your hand in hot boiling water is unsafe.

As long as it doesn't stop my ability to provide for my family, I wouldn't give a rat's ass. Do you?

so, why should work be any different?
