and that would be a Cosmic Ray, not a "Martian" Cosmic Ray. They are all generated in outer space.
Well... they're not even rays... ok, nitpicking now:)
hey hey hey
Jack Tramiel was not unfit. He created the Amiga.
Commodore's CEO and other officers were unfit and bankrupted the company in the middle of being the 2nd best seller of computers in the world.
Another way of fighting jetlag is to fly a lot. It's been years since I suffered jetlag, I just got back from Japan, didn't feel it either way, I go to Europe a lot and I went to college in Hawaii and would fly to Italy for holidays.
Oh yeah, I eat a lot so maybe that's it! Airlines need to start feeding people more and more often on their flights.
Atari founder Nolan Bushnell said that a new stealth encryption chip called TPM will ' "absolutely" stop piracy of gameplay' at least until pirates figure out a way of circumventing it. Mr. Bushnell also stated that he calculates that protection from piracy will last at least 3 weeks, while rotalties for the use of the chip will amount to $100,000 per game per week.
I wouldn't call it ether in the strict historical/philosophical or metaphysical sense but I always knew that the "empty space" was holding matter. Why did it take so long for them to catch up?
I'm sorry but you seem to make some very strong assumptions based on very little. I used FF for almost 10 years therefore I resist change? You have no idea of what other software I use or how many times I have switched allegiance to a software house because I found something better so please do not make assumptions without knowing all the facts.
I'm pretty open minded, maybe you're not since you jumped to this other conclusion. How would I reject something outrightly if that something has been used for several weeks?
You also seemed to have (voluntarily?) missed my statement where I have used FF3 for a few weeks, as a matter of fact I still have it installed on my laptop, which I brought recently to Japan and that was the only browser I used for 2 weeks. Do I have the right to like a particular browser or not? Or should I just change with something I don't like so that I don't get labeled?
And then look at yourself, you have not even seen IE8 and you're already criticizing it, who's narrow minded? Actually I have used IE8 and I don't dislike it. I wouldn't call it revolutionary but it seems fine to me. Then again, FF3 is far from being revolutionary itself, they can keep their stupid AwesomeBar (great name! Then they have the courage to say Microsoft creates hype).
Haven't tried the 2nd gen Zune but I have had a 1st gen for about a year and I love it. I take it all over the world and play music or video when I'm commuting to work. It works perfectly, my old Creative Micro used to hang out all the time. People around me are always surprised by the quality of images.
I'm far from being M$ biggest fan (or any fan) but I bought a refurbished 30GB Zune for $75 almost a year ago and I just love it. It works great, plays every song and every video I throw at it.
I agree with the horrible-bar being hideous, it needs improvement. When I type the initials of a website I expect the bar to show me that website and not something totally unrelated first. At least improve it in the order items are shown. The way it is right now it's useless to me and unfortunately I have to say it'd make the difference for me to choose IE8. Plus, most Add-Ons don't work, including Adblock Plus (shows it works but doesn't get rid of JPG most of the time and never gets rid of Flash). Sorry but if I have to be honest, I don't see a reason to stick with FF3, and I used it since the very first version.
Actually God didn't create anything. Adam, Eve, Steve and all the others CREATED God. Big Difference!
And, forgive me if I ask, what is a Gay Agenda and in which bookstore can I find one? I asked my gay friends but they said they stopped using agendas once they graduated from school, now they use laptops. Gateway, Dell and HP don't have Gay Laptops so I'm assuming these people are using generic ones.
Don't upgrade now... ok. But what about in a few years when HTML/CSS etc get another overhaul and your FF2 just doesn't cut it anymore? Plus the famous memory leaks (last year on a FF usenet I asked for help with memory leaks and all the FF developers told me it was my imagination, if my FF2 was using 350+MB of RAM for a couple of tabs I was the one doing something wrong).
The only "awesome bar" I care for is the one where free drinks are offered.
I have been betatesting FireFox 3 for almost a month now and I can already tell you I hate their "awesome bar." The so-called smart suggestions get in the way, when I type something in the search bar I'm more interested in having an alphabetized list of sites I've visited, as it is standard, than a load of crap I have to search through to get what I want. With tons of extensions that don't work and their "awesome bar" I'm afraid it won't be too long before I switch back to FF2 or some other browser when 2 becomes obsolete... hate to admit it but IE8 doesn't look that bad (and I'm not talking about actual "look"). "awesome bar"... tsk!
DO NOT CLICK THAT LINK. Look at URL and you'll see that it's the same old one that takes control of your browser and drops a virus in the system. Also forces your browser to open pop-up (so much for disabling them) with children pornography and violent scenes. I hope that guy gets caught, thrown in jail and the key thrown away.
That link will open an infinite number of windows with porn crap and torn apart children, also lots of email messages if your email program is setup to allow mailto:
Somebody must be very fucked up in his mind to even conceive something like that.
What pisses me off the most is that web-browsers and operating systems seem to be entirely useless against this kind of junk. When the hell will programmers put some code so that the browser will block dozens of pop-up windows that appear at a fraction of a second intervals? Does it take a genius to think something like that? I'm actually using FireFox 3 beta 4, so far not impressed, most of my extensions don't work.
Look, we haven't even been there in person and we're already dropping trash all over the place :)

I don't think he was implying that minorities pay more, I think he was implying that minorities don't get any.

Didn't mean to post anonymously. That was me :)
Actually I have fired that many times, didn't kill me at all... what? Speak louder, I can't hear you!
I know... shouldn't we invent sonic showers first? :)
There's also Yattodetaman! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-ufVhbF5p4 Unrelated but funny Time Bokan.

... a YATTABYTE! From Japanese Yatta! Meaning: YEY! Yuppie! I got it! Then we can all become Yattaman! :)
Wow, If I ever heard bullshit on Slashdot, this would be it.
Because Tesla cars use gravitic systems that allows them to float over a congested freeway ;-)
Dammit! Now I can't take it on the plane as checked-in luggage! :-p
