    The market wage for a public institution or government employee that has no private competition is zero.
    Public school teachers have competition. It is cheaper and better.
    It is held back by massive teachers unions paying off the law makers.

    But could they take you to court for uninstalling windows?
    Was there a federal law 1995-2005 that could put you in prison for changing your video card.
    Once the long arm of the law steps in and smacks you upside the head for daring to modify things you own the world needs some fixing.

    There is no problem with Apples app store.
    The problem is iPads, iPhones and iPods.
    The real problem is people that own a home that they can ONLY furnish from Ikea.

    Then again if you are fully aware with the situation and buy the device knowing its limitations then more power to you.

    You sir are just another in a long line of people looking out for their own self interest.
    You have nothing to add to this debate other than finger pointing at one side.

    On the other side of this teacher debate you might start to ask why it is that in states where the teachers are paid the most correlate well
    with states that have the worst education?

    I am not saying that teachers should not be paid a decent market wage.
    I am saying that seniority instead of merit based firing decisions can not but fail to produce good education.
    Even though that would be best for the districts, schools and the students it is not done.
    Why?
    Because the union must protect its current members.
    Teachers may care about students or not. Depending on the teacher.
    Unions do not though care one bit about the students.

    Republicans want more laws and regulations creating monopolies for their corporate puppet masters.
    Democrats want more laws and regulations protecting private and public sector unions.
    Republicans want a bigger government to serve corporations.
    Democrats want a bigger government to serve unions.
    Democrats and Republicans want Big Government to control the people.

    I want a small government controlled by the people.

    You choose your side. I will choose mine.
    You better though understand the intentions of not just the other side but yours as well.

    Iran should never have nuclear weapons.
    North Korea should never have been allowed to create nuclear weapons.
    Pakistan should never have been allowed nuclear weapons.
    India I am not so sure about.
    France I am not worried about as their nuclear weapons are really just a tool for whomever invades them next for the auto win.
    China and the former USSR were to fucking big to start a war over to prevent them from getting it.

If so, no this is actually a pretty standard technique that should exist in servers these days.

    This is just a natural progression of what we are doing.
    When you take away real consequences for an action you get less responsible actions.
    When you take care of someones kids not matter what you get alot more people having children they
    can not or will not take care of.
    If every time your kid drops their laptop you buy them another one within 24 hours. They are going to break a fuckload of laptops.
    Rental cars are treated like shit.

    These are all things that we know.
    We know them right up till this knowledge prevents us from voting for some entitlement for ourselves or "For the Children".
    Then we forget.

    Even after they rented me they kept improving the shit they rented me with.
    They win too. The serve me up small text ads. Ones that kind of hang back and allow me to see the stuff I want to see.
    Because they rented me they also can do a better job of making those unobtrusive text ads sometimes useful.
    If they fuck us over then their flock runs away. Then their profits go down. They do not want to do that.
    What they want is to continue to serve me really good ads that make them shitloads of money.
    What I want is really cool shit and ads that don't make me want to tear my eyes out.
    That is why me and Google get along so well.

    I did not say they did it randomly.
    They do it when they think they need to.
    When they do it they are sometimes very vague about why it was done.
    When they take hold your money you have no recourse.

    The problem in reality is that the government got involved in the first place.
    Gave away money for a private company to build infrastructure. Then the corps use the government to create regulations that severely limit the ability
    for new companies to really compete against these government backed Monopoly/Duopolies.
    Then the government uses their bad practices (Made possible by government regulations) to increase the regulation of the industry.

    They have to be very careful though. They have to make sure that the new regulations while looking good actually allow the entrenched government backed
    corporations to behave badly and increase their profits. The government can then use this as an excuse to regulate the evil corporation the next time.

    Do you not read anything about the company you work for.
    Do you not realize that any money put into a PayPal account can be held for any amount of time.
    For just about any reason. With no one to complain to but the people holding your money.
    As a company PayPal would do itself much good to tread very carefully about taking someones money with out any real recourse.

    No.
    You need to decide if you want the app with the permissions it asks for or not.
    If you get a free app the app maker is free to attempt to make money. You are free to decide if you want that deal or not.
    What you are not free to do is to say "But I really really want it! Give it to me my way!"

    Man up. Take control of your own wants and needs and stop passing off your responsibilities onto others.

    There are a shit ton of apps out there that I want. Some of them ask for things I do not want to give. Some ask for more money than I think it is worth.
    That is where I have to make decisions. I do not get to log onto newegg and tell them they need to implement a system during checkout that lets me have the stuff but just decide to pay less because I do not want to pay that much for the item.

    That would be stupid beyond belief.

    What you are suggesting is the same exact thing. It is also just as stupid.
