Most of the hardware issues are solvable by using hardware thats known to work with BeOS. The same argument is given by linux devotees who say "thats not a real modem, thats a WinModem". The compatibility database for BeOS is pretty extensive. And older parts are cheaper so you can build your own BeBox. I did and I'm using it NOW.

Did you ever hear of the inocence project? More than 100 people have been exhonerated due to DNA evidence. The system is far less reliable than you imply it to be.
The whole implementation of the TSA was economical vs effective. The way to protect planes is Air Marshalls with automatic fire arms on every plane. Thats too expensive. A few 8.00 dollar an hour TSA shmucks is way cheaper.
Why not self contained hydraulic pumps in the heels of army boots that drive a small turbine when weight is transfered to the heel? That would require no extra energy expenditure. Assuming of course they were being worn on earth where theres some gravity...

Its not just hotmail that dosent play well with alt OS's. AOL needs you to use the 'User Agent Switcher" app as well for their webmail to let you use it. I use BeOS and had to do that to get my email. Also when firefox "hangs" just press 'Shift' and click on 'reload' and it will load the page properly.

If you care about the security of voting theres also a convienient link to the VelvetRevolution site where you can lobby your congress critter to change things.
Simply take the battery out of the cell phone and put it in when you need to make a call and take it out when you're done.
The phone dosent ping the cell tower unless it has power.
