Well maybe not a patten dispute but conflict of interest. Samsung makes Phones to compete with Apple so why is Apple buying products from them and suing them, Apple needs there electronics does not make sense.
Honestly I been using Google Docs lately since I been traveling a bit. Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice and Open Office all really do the same thing they are word processors. Most customers I install open office and they do not even know the difference between that and word. Let a lone Libre office and open office. Most just care that it's free.
Microsoft is wrong here, have they learned nothing from Amazon, and Droid who nipple at the bottom of Apples price point. This has the potential to be another Microsoft gadget failure like the Zune.
I know myself I have a 1 meg upload imagine a 1 hour TV show or a 2 to 3 hour movie. Your internet would be just so offal slow waiting for that huge file to upload. Takes me half hour just to upload bunch songs to Google Music. It must be recorded locally then unlocked by a code sent to the box. I cannot see everything being uploaded.
I agree when you sign up for hosting whether it be shared or dedicated all that information is in the terms of service agreement. They can shut you down at anytime. If you self host there are even ISP terms of service about DNS and ports. Point is if they want your site down they can do it in many different ways.
Schools get funding from attendance so they want to better track it. It's also helps with liabilities, safety, class cutters and if kids failing was he in that class. As long as they are not tracking the kids outside school I think it's ok. As long as parents sign a waver they agree to it.
A just-released Google Play store app update, as well as the company's recent acquisition of VirusTotal seem to hint that yes, Google is looking into it.
Google yesterday started rolling out an update to its Google Play Store app version 3.8.17 from August was bumped to version 3.9.16 in October. The update to the phone has two parts. The first thing called App Check would apparently allow Google to inspect apps you’ve already downloaded and a second feature would warn you if an app you’re trying to install is suspicious.
With the recent FBI warning to consumers about mobile malware Google is adding better security features and possibly a built in AV on its latest Android mobile OS Jelly Bean 4.1 to avoid future security issues. With Jelly Bean's design, Google hopes to defend against hacks that install viruses, along with other malware.
A lot of PA land owners fell into the same trap. They were told they will never drill as soon as they signed the lease boom the drilling equipment showed up and ruined there wells and septics.
I think this is great idea. When I was in europe for few years biking was most popular way get to work. I think america is a bit behind the times with this. Europe has car lanes, biking lanes and some places have walking lanes. Cars and Bikes have right away not walkers. Plus in europe you pay 4 dollars a leader not a gallon.
If the court approves the settlements, the publishers will pay for e-book refunds that will be applied automatically to the Amazon.com accounts of eligible customers. Customers can use the refunds to purchase Kindle books or print books or request a check for the amount of the refund.
I tell everyone if you don't want people to know it don't put it on the internet. Once posted on the internet in any form of media it can never be erased.
This is a big move for Amazon. I think this might be them trying to bring hardware in house to make there tablets more high end to compete with the iPad at a cheaper price point.
I agree I do not think that cost will pay off electric to run the transceivers I mean a 7ft cat 5 is so cheap why would you spend the money if you have 3 ports on server 2 nic and ilo cost is a lot less for 3 cat 5 cables.
If this is the case how come I never get any in for repairs? Is the quality better? Are they more popular in commercial industry then in consumer? If thats the case why do I not see any businesses with Lenovo's?
I agree with this comment. He failed to mention the power that Microsoft has in the Game console and entertainment center market right now. Not to mention there server OS strength which is not going away anytime soon. Almost any and all companies have some kind of Microsoft products and servers.
This classic took Microsoft years to develop this technology and it takes the open source community less then a year I love the power of the open source community.

This is the problem with non self hosted sites your at someone else mercy.
They did the same thing to Kevin Mitnick he spend almost all of his 5 years in jail in solitary be cause "he could launch a nuclear bomb from a phone"
Easy fix for iPhone users thanks for time.
So there basically doing the same thing Google does except they are doing it threw there network rather then threw the OS.

Under the Commander Taco day's an article like this would have never been posted.

I think it's funny that pirate bay has better disaster plan then most legitimate businesses I know of in my area.

I think Google needs to start moderating apps better

I agree with share point and cloud computing being the new rave of Microsofts product line. .NET programmers are in high demand right now.
