I find myself avoiding products and services from companies that try to crap on my rights. I believe I am not the only one, since over the years many of these companies have withered or died. They can blame piracy, they can make up excuses for their shrinking bottom lines, but in the end the cause of their demise is their hostility to the very people that made them great in the first place.
All those AOL users who leave their boxes up 24/7 are infected with cooties that use their machines to haxx0r the rest of the world and steel their megabites, oh n0s!
Its amateur time! Heres from the article - "White hat hackers didnâ(TM)t even need proxy information to find the culprit because they discovered that the Rubico forum handle was linked to rubico10@yahoo.com.This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it A few searches on Google and YouTube further links this email address to 20-year-old David Kernell, a student at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. His father is Democratic Tennessee state representative Mike Kernell."
Lol, son of a Democratic Tennessee state representative goes after the Republican Cougar. I bet his dad is going to get some attention from this.
I was handling purchasing for one of major retail chains at the time the first wave of 3D glasses came out. The chief complaint wasnt resolution or refresh rate. People who never before in their life got motion sick, were getting violently ill and barfing up fifteen minutes into their games. Clearly, the 3D experience wasnt for everyone.
Many tires manufacturers embed serialized RFID sensors and that data is already being tracked as an "experiment" and for "purely statistical" purposes. Your browser is embedded with a unique ID number. Your other apps are embedded with unique IDs that seep into the obvious and inobvious meta-data on the documents you produce and "touch". The technocrati walk around with pocketfuls of gadgets that broadcast various data that is easily collected for corrolative retrieval. Your online habits are collected and analyzed by industry and goverments (US doesnt have a monopoly on online spying). There is no privacy and there is no spoon.
I think we need a goverment controlled Ministry of Truth... Goverment being the only impartial entity can insure that we get the Truth and only the Truth...
"electronic DNA for silicon chips" Do you grasp the full meaning of this people?!?!? THEY CREATED ARTIFICIAL LIFE! And it all started with a humble search for improved RFID...

The two greatest bits of error nostalgia for me are the Commodore Amigas GURU MEDITATION errors and the Atari ST screen bombs.
Yeah this is a little different than the Space Race of the Cold War. Investors watching, proceed with caution.
