    Guess I'm just a naive dumb-dumb or maybe I'm missing the sarcasm but that is how I have always done my voting. I'm have only ever resided in one state though. Do other states/countries really allow anonymous voting?

    If the MTBF is in hours, then what are they going to determine is an average I/O for an SSD per hour? Since the total amount of data we use is only increasing that means that MTBF will always decrease with your logic. I have to say that is quite the opposite in most electronics even if they are being produced at cheaper rate.

    I am familiar with Bell Aliant through business connections but I think I have them and Bell Canada confused. However, Bell Canada did just acquire them, did they not? Do you see any negative impacts from this or will all remain as comfortable as you see it now?

    While the US public internet is a sham it's no where as bad as the one the Canadians get to deal with. I'd say from what I've learned about Shaw, Rogers, and Bell Aliant it seems to be that Comcast and TWC still look slightly less evil. At our ISP are trying to play the cards (for now) while the big 3 in Canada know they are permanently allowed to screw their customers. The CRTC is a joke and should be re-established.

    So tell me, is the LTE standard which still has 2 or 3 more phases done? Or is this a super-early legit 5G standard? I don't remember all the specs behind LTE but I thought it went beyond the posted bandwidth of this 5G rate. Or is 5G a subset of LTE? Thanks, Did not RTFA.

    There are few things worse than seeing a family with two overstuffed carts walking through the self-checkout lane... Do they seriously do this every time?

    I don't understand the thinking behind why they would even want to go through the terror of the self-checkout lane. Not to mention adding coupons to the mix.

    What are you stating, that the self-described feminazi's only call themselves that because the extreme right-wing nut jobs also use that term? It's a term that the extreme-wing of "feminists" use. I quote feminists there because I don't see them related to what feminists in the 60's and 70's was about. 30 minutes on Tumblr and eventually you start to see how these folks use the term for themselves and exactly what they want. It's a beatdown on people that agree with them.

    Ha, so I dropped the terror word. After spending more hours on everydayfeminism.com than and normal human should I am much more of a believer in that term.

    It's amazing how some people will stop at nothing to loudly express how much they need to allow .0001% the ability to fit in. It's a great way to further alienate themselves rather than making it easier for them to fit in with everyone else.

    It's completely outside the faucet of fairness or equality in games . I'm sure there will be no end in sight for SJWs taking on Intel now. However, Women's Rights activist/advocates should be firmly expressing their disdain towards this horrible movement of Femi-nazi's. Sure, I used a bunch of buzzwords and media speak but the truth is, this Gamergate is bullshit to anyone with a healthy functioning mind.

    No, I have not noticed that on new releases. That's one of the best reasons for PC games in general is that they are the same price at release and quickly fall in price within a few months. They are often filled with more content to begin with as well. Maybe if you are only talking about the games that start on consoles then move to PC later since they try to keep the continuity the same then in rare cases it's true.

    Such bullshit. I read all the time that they are just using simple proxies to get the US content and Netflix themselves aren't discouraging the use. If there is any crackdown it's from the CA telecoms and possible the CRTC since they are in bed with the big three there.

    Yeah, since that happens so often on the 90th percentile of sites you and everyone visits. Those "detectors" use Javascripts, not some server-side scripting. Block Javascript and those nag messages also go away.

    What they do in my small city (PA) is the following. Ped lights are on a timer. Once they are allowed to walk, the intersection is red for at least 5-10 seconds. Peds get to walk without any cars attempting to move. Then the lights change to green, peds still have a "walk" light and everyone seems to be happy. So even though a driver can see the timer, they don't know exactly when their light will change. I'm pretty sure the interval is not always "10 seconds" since you always see cars creeping thinking the light is about to change and it doesn't.

    I find the entire issue more disheartening then that granted the most recent revelations about Pro-Corporate and Government data sharing. They used to have to do stake outs for weeks or even months to really know a person. Where they are at 7:00AM on a Saturday, how often they go to the gym, where they eat out with their secret lover every-other-Tuesday. Now we feed it to them directly all without giving a second though to it. Twitter and Facebook made it an socially acceptable action and even reward you for doing it often. I couldn't be more pessimistic about it even knowing that it has many advantages. Those that control it will always abuse it.

    I don't know if you are being sarcastic or serious. Either way, this is happening now. PP&L in Pennsylvania started this last year. If you are using a SmartMeter & have a Controller, you can elect to have PP&L "Save" you money by turning off your A/C during peak hours during the day. In theory it almost sounds okay, it failed pretty horribly in a couple locations last year with many older folks homes turning into 90+ degree ovens.
