If you would stop watching Fox News for 5 minutes you might realize the very low incomes of average Americans, compared to these other countries riding the free lunch wagon, despite the American economy being far better is the unfair redistribution of the wealth from the poor to the ultra rich. Stop the gritting and Americans would not only get all that free stuff, but massive returns each year.
They do the ridiculously exploited jobs for no money Americans refuse to do because they believe that they are trying too good for them, deserve a healthy body at 30, and like the idea of being able to eat and keep a roof over thier head working 60 hour weeks. We educate them and we would have a full on agricultural crisis. Let's hope they keep being taken advantage of till robotics takes over or you might find yourself not affording american food or benefiting from us agricultural trade.
While I agree it says nothing about competence, having a college degree (or technical/trade school degree also covered under free college for all) is the textbook definition of skilled labor. It dosent matter if that's what companies want, hundreds of millions of hirings back this claim.
I think you just described how bias works in human minds as well. That's why statistical correlation can be racist, it's often a statistical fact that applies generally. However if the algorithm can't evaluate an individual in a nuanced way based on thier specific abilities and attributes it's no better than just using racism, sexism, and general stereotypes.
Free college for all would solve the low skilled worker crisis for 1/3 the cost of a single petty war we carry out on nations who never attacked us or are guilty of anything but having natural resources.
All menial work is going to be completely automated within 100 years, maybe 50. We aren't there yet, but need to have plans as the race is on to fire two billion workers by 2070. It will save companies quadrillions of dollars to not pay any employees every decade worldwide. Think poverty is bad now? Wait till there are actually are no jobs.

But, ultimately data like that used by Facebook and CA coupled with facial and object recognition could wreak havok with killing based on complex criteria like age, sex, religious, or political beliefs just like the first linked video. The peppers aren't as hot as nearly pure capsaicin extract, which is used as an ingredient in those hot wings you often have to sign a waiver for as well as topical pain relief creams (DO NOT TASTE THESE). I like spicy foods, even extremely spicy foods, but after eating several of those extract laden wings, not only did my hands start burning through the skin (I now know why the chefs wear them), but I suffered pretty severe abdominal pain for 12 hours on top of the usual exit wounds. Not really worth your picture on a wall if you ask me.
