...would the first you do after hacking Vista be to install XP?
Dear FBI, I don't know this because I am a hacker, but I knew someone who got fired because they got hacked. And the first thing the hacker did was to patch the exploit, I guess so no one else could hack it and he could keep it to himself and maintain a low profile?
...temperatures from 1961 to 1990...We in the Northwestern hemisphere have experienced 7 of the top 8 warmest years on record since 2001, and all 10 top warmest years since 1995.
So...you know that the Earth as a whole has been cooling since 1998, right?
I think you're suggesting that if you save a gallon of gas or a loaf of bread a week, that next week you'll have to make it up by consuming an extra to make up your personal deficit
That's not at all what I was saying. Please reread my post, you will probably find it agreeable. I would explain, but I have to gbtw.
Even the oil companies admit they can't get the new oil to market in less than five to ten years.
So, should we not pursue alternative energy also? It takes time to bring to market also. Heck, even educating and convincing consumers to change their habits takes time. We should not pursue your plan by that logic also. Conservation is a good thing, but it won't replace long term production, unless we just stop growing. We have to get our energy from somewhere.
And 5 years is too long? Pfft! What, are you six? Is that forever to you? Who cares if it takes 50 years...think of the grandchildren! But, seriously, have you heard of the futures market, it speculatively bid on things that are, like, in the future. Part of the reason why oil is so high is because the speculation is that there won't be enough oil in the future to meet demand, thanks for that gift, pal.
The fastest easiest way to add more oil to the market is to cut back on usage.
What? huh? Who cares how much oil you are "adding to the market" if you are not using it! That's like saying, "Hey, everybody! We could add more food to the market if we add just stop eating! Hooray!" Please do not mistake me, I am not against conservation. Clearly in my last analogy, there are some people (not everybody) who could go with less food. They would have more personal wealth and there would be more food available for others, but this will not keep feeding people indefinitely. The world's population today could not have lived on the food supply of ages past, even if everybody was on strict rations.
"I first contacted Fortuny by e-mail, and he called me a few days later. 'I checked you out,' he said warily. 'You seem legitimate.' We met in person on a bright spring day at his apartment, on a forested slope in Kirkland, Wash., near Seattle. He wore a T-shirt and sweat pants, looking like an amiable freelancer on a Friday afternoon. He is thin, with birdlike features and the etiolated complexion of one who works in front of a screen. He'd been chatting with an online associate about driving me blindfolded from the airport, he said. 'We decided it would be too much work.'
There is apparently a cut off point. Once the post has so many caps it filters it. But, if it has so many caps, but not a large enough percentage, it un-filters it.
So I suppose, there are more questions to answer:
1) At what amount of CAPS characters does the filter turn on?
2) At what percentage does it then turn off?
3) How does it quantify repetitiveness and what is its threshold?
4) How can you achieve the maximum appearance of CAPS and repetitiveness, but circumvent the filters?
...I was unaware there was a caps lock and repetition filter. I do wonder. What is the maximum amount of capitalization and maximum amount of repetition one can use and not be filtered?
By my analysis, the parent has the following stats:
1576 small 1170 large --- 43% CAPS
106 numeric 3638 non-numeric --- 97% repetition
Although, there were 4 distinct sentences, so perhaps divide by 4 to get 24% repetition?
With the parent as the standard, let's see who can improve the most.
Way to be all snarky! you can't even spell!! idiot!
On reread of my post, I caught my spelling error and it also seems to have a negative tone. I was going for funny with the heading, not condescending. I think I missed the mark. Haha, oh well, jokes on me, not knowing how to spell and all.
Actually, the energy associated with Saturn's orbit is greater than Earth's. Look at the rotational energy of two objects with the same mass, but give one Saturn's orbital distance and speed and one Earth's. You actually gain energy coming to Earth.
Think about electron orbitals...it's kinda the same...higher orbits = more energy. Or you can think of an ice skater, when she bring her hands in, she spins faster. It is conservation of momentum not speed.
..my friends swear by P90X.
It seems like the real deal. The say they are always challenged and that it runs the gambit between weight lifting and yoga. Seems like an overall fitness kinda program. But I can' vouch for it personally (see my other post for what I do).
Oh, and apparently there is stuff they want you to buy apart from the videos. My friends say buy the off brand stuff to save money.
Basically I stretch everyday. MWF focus on upper body. TR focus on lower body. SSu rest. I throw in cardio less than I should.
Don't push too much! If a muscle is still sore, give it rest! There are other exercises to do.
All the exercises I do involve only dumbbells. The only other purchase was a cheap simple bench that could incline.
I bought the lightest ones at walmart and picked up heavier ones weekly as I could. This is cheap and doable.
I do decline, regular, incline and military presses on my bench with my dumbbells.
I also do bicep curls and butterflies.
Don't forget you can change the position of your wrists in a lot of these to mix it up. An mix up curls with concentration curls every now and then.
Crunches and push ups and pull ups for sure.
Lunges are great, but my favorite exercise is one legged squats. These are amazing!
I also do like 45min-1hour of DDR for cardio sometimes. And stretch for an hour (which is not that bad because you can read a book or watch TV and stretch)
I had one call my phone asking for someone I had never heard of. I was bored and I played along. They asked for my SSN, I told them I forgot and asked them if they could tell me what it was...they did!
So I had this random lady's name and SSN. I also told them I had a new address and gave them the white house address.
For every one of these stories, there is one about the devout atheist who studies diligently to disprove the Bible only to become a Christian.
For examples of atheist-turned-Christian see CS Lewis to quote "...Lewis claimed he became an atheist at the age of 15..."
Or you could listen to a radio drama of another true life converstion at unshackled right here in their archives (wma and ram sorry). Heck you can search their archives for others. And when you find them, look the people up in the phone book an call them and ask them yourself instead of taking a radio drama's word for it.
...to be a Christian. Old texts go a long way to proving the authenticity of the Bible - not the other way around. Often times, after a discovery such as this one, the media gets all excited. Never mind the fact that most of these discoveries 'reveal' things already known to religious and secular scholars. Have a look in a Bible, check the footnotes. They mark passages that don't appear in all notable manuscripts. Christians don't hide this, nor do they need to.
I have a BS in Physics from a state school (Emphasis on theory not some science-math-wimpy-education-track). I have listened to the higher criticism of the Bible as well as equally capable defenders of the faith. Those in defense of the Bible have a better case.
Now, if you take someone who has poor logical and rhetoric skills and put them up against a professor, it is easy to make the educated side seem to have the correct position. But, that works both ways.
Have a listen to what some well educated and well spoken men of God say in the defense of the Bible. Of course, there are charlatans, who masquerade as if they know what they are talking about and make Christianity look stupid. But, every field has those - cold fusion, anybody?
I would suggest Ravi Zacharias rzim.org if you are looking for a modern man with excellent logical skills and comprehensive knowledge on the subject. He has Q&A sessions (often at colleges after a debate) and takes questions such as yours seriously and gives educated answers that actually address your criticism. Take a look here for the past 100 broadcasts of his 'Let My People Think' program, you might find answers to some questions you have had. If he isn't to your liking, look for another - there are many.
It is humourous that they used BCE incorrectly. Especially since it is in reference to a story about Christianity. Ha! I bet the writer would not have made this mistake if he had used the AD/BC notation.
The CE / BCE always comes across to me as elite - why change a standard? What's wrong with AD and BC?
...does anyoe else feel like Apple tries to trap you and take over your life ala RealPlayer? That's why I never buy anything Apple. I'd rather get something manufactured by someone who isn't forcing me into all their products if I want to do anything.
I appreciate all the comments. I am still reading through them. But I have many papers to grade and tests to write still. So, it'll probably be till the weekend before I finish.
When will uranium and the breeder reactors be exhausted of fuels?
we NEED fusion power...to save us from...global warming
Why can't current nuclear technology suffice?
Not that I am a warm-earther, but if I was...what's wrong with current nuke plants?

Maybe he should have blindfolded the reporter...
