    If only there were something cars needed to be regularly refilled with that already took into account how far you drive and fuel efficiency this process could be simplified.

    If they used the Same OtherOS provided by Sony for consumers then it was really badly nurfed (you only had access to one CPU!). However you may be right they might have already had a special OtherOS.

    For sure look at OSX they haven't changed the UI (except to add new features or effects) since at least 10.3 I wish they would just get it right and stick with it.

    This is the third or fourth time I've seen a comment in this vein on /. promoting this notion that the financial sector provides nothing to society. While I will defiantly concede that the financial sector may have become a bigger problem than solution it does allow people and organizations with the means to raise capitol without the need to put their entire estate at risk.

    'Innocent until proven guilty' or 'guilty without a reason for doubt' isn't for civil suites like this one, though lately no one seems to respect it anywhere. For civil suites its about 'guilty without a reasonable doubt' which is slightly different.

    So all we have to do is give up the only reason we use so much energy in the first place (transportation) and billions of dollars in land plus millions of dollars a year in up keep or figure out a way to put them in the ocean possibly causing more environmental problems and we can gather enough energy from the sun. Where do we sign up?... in all seriousness just listen to yourself you think gas is expensive what you're talking about would make gas look cheap. Why not just invest in a few state of the art fusion plants?

    You obviously have no idea what the implications of a finding a room temperature super-conductor are they're actually very exciting and at the very lest not boring. It would push most of our technology forward at least 20 years if we can find a way to mass produce one. Since you obviously use technology it defiantly does matter to you.

    The simplest solution is just to use directories and if you want to find something specific say all films by Scott Ridley's for example films just search IMDB. Sure its not as clean cut as say Songbird or iTunes but it works.
