Taxes aren't for creating a desired behavior, they're for collecting funds. If you want to financially punish people for an undesired behavior you should fine them. A new tax will make our already overly complex taxation system even more complex.

When you're being sued for that photo you could just use that argument that you're on/. therefore you don't have a girlfriend and you couldn't have uploaded it.

I'll probably be flamed for this; you can add the Shi'a hate us because we stand in the way of what they want (an Islamic world). The problem isn't that our Ideologies are wrong it's that the two conflict with each other. Therefore there are three options that I know of...
1. War!!!
2. Becoming an Islamic state.
3. Becoming a communist state, then converting the world to it (as they don't allow any religions or other Ideologies).
I would be open to any other ideas.
I prefer Matroska as well... personally I think that xilph should drop the ogg container since mkv is doing such a good job then it would leave slightly more time to work on their video codec (perhaps they could even merge the projects if everyone was happy with it).

Why not incorporate ffmpeg into firefox its open source and not only would it render h.264 but almost ever other codec.
