I am one that downloaded and watched Battlestar before SciFi aired it. I told EVERYONE that I knew about it. Best advertising one can get, Word Of Mouth.
"They are TODAY, but what if tomorrow it's not too big and bulky? Remember what everyone was saying about the iPod here when it first came out? If you had something along the lines of the motorola razor that had 80 gigs of storage for music playback etc... with a nice screen, good interface, WiFi, and all the amenities of a good multimedia phone, wouldn't you hop on it?"
Yep. That is totally the size and style of a device that I'd want
"When the world's most successful businessman makes a prediction, I tend to listen. I don't always agree with him (and that's why he's rich and I'm not), but I think this time he's SPOT ON."
Oh my, you've had too much Microsoft Kool-Aid
Apple isn't in the phone market cause there are too many companies in the market, and the technology is still evolving. I imagine they would release a phone with a Newton OS when they could fit it in a Razor form.
really? That's not what I saw. It was thicker than my iPod. And that is why I sold my Treo 600. It looked cool, but it was too thick. Looked like a dweeb if you put it in your pocket......
You could make a case if iTunes only worked on the Mac, but it doesn't. It works on Windows as well. You can burn tracks you purchase to CD to do whatever you want with them. Don't you think the RIAA would rather have a tighter grip on things than to loosen it up? I mean, they have had a monopoly on CDs for about 20 years, and the prices are still way too high.
If I were the head of the RIAA, I'd say screw Real, Napster, and others, and endorse iTunes as the official RIAA online service. I'd also lower prices on CDs, allow higher encoded files to be downloaded (like 160 AACs), and offer things like if you buy 5 songs off the album, you can get the whole album for another $5. Something to move my products.
If you read the article, how can you take the Italian Journalists position. It says she was in the back seat, with the light on, talking. Have you been in a back seat, talking, with the light on? Can you see what the driver is doing? Think about it. The driver admits he was not in the habit of checking his speed. He had the windows down to listen for threats. He didn't see the spotlight they shined at him.
There was obviously something different about this car. Speeding. Not yelding. I'm sure they don't shoot at every car coming down the road. This one did not stop. Was not paying attention. Monday morning QBing this is insane. These guys did what they did cause the driver did not stop or slow down.
Yeah, it's tragic that someone died. Someone who freed a lady from captivity. But when you come up to a military check point, you don't try to speed through. That's insane.
" Though not in the habit of checking his speedometer, Mr. Carpani estimated his speed at 70-80 kph as he exited off of Route Vernon, heading toward the on-ramp to Route Irish. (Annex 105C). The courtesy light in the car was on and had been since picking up Ms. Sgrena in the Mansour District of Baghdad. (Annex 104C). Additionally, Mr. Carpani had his side window halfway open to listen for possible threats. (Annex 105C). Ms. Sgrena and Mr. Calipari were in the rear of the car talking to each other. (Annexes 103C, 105C). The atmosphere in the car was a mix of excitement over the recovery of Ms. Sgrena, and tension from the tasks yet to be completed. (Annex 140C)."
Window was down. Speeding. Not paying attention. Drivers fault.
What? They were not paying attention to what was going on. They had the interior light on and talking. How do they know how fast they were going? How do they know the driver did or did not see the spotlight?
No, I think the Italian journalist is the one lying here. The guy was speeding and failed to stop. How are the soldiers to know who is in the car?
If it was me, I would have shot the car. It was clearly speeding towards their position. The driver was not paying attention. He had a spotlight and a laser pointer shined on them. They supposedly had the windows down in the car to hear for threats. They were going in excess of 50mph, and the driver admits he was not in the habit of checking his speed. Who's at fault? The driver.
Scriptomatic? Is that like Visual Basic? Why would I want that installed? And Automator is not anything like Scriptomatic. AppleScript has been an Apple product for a decade.
File and Settings Transfer? Have you even used that? It's useless. It's not the same as.Mac Sync. Read up on it choadman.
WMP, as in Windows Media Player? Quicktime player is free. The Pro version has extra features. I don't think the Windows Media add ons are free
iChat and MSN are two different beasts. iChat uses AOLs network. I have a hundred and something people on my AIM, and like 2 on MSN (using Trillian). So, why would I want MSN messenger?
Outlook = Virus heaven. I'd never use Outlook. Ever.
RSS - You mean someone actually uses IE? Scary.
"Voiceover enhances the Universal Access". Universal Access is something Mac has had since, um, OS 8.....
WinFS? They've had it? Where? Hidden in Longhorn? And we get to see it when? 2006? 2007?
Dashboard is NOT SideShow. What the hell are you getting your information from?
Look, I am more than happy to pay $100 (if you go Amazon and get a rebate) for Tiger. Every version of OS X has been faster, and more stable. No viruses. No security problems. Nada.
Go back and drink your Microsoft Kool-Aid. Tell Michael Jackson hi. And beef up on your facts idiot.
Um, don't you need dialogue to make a story?
The line starts away from where Lucas is. He can't write an interesting story to save his life.
I am one that downloaded and watched Battlestar before SciFi aired it. I told EVERYONE that I knew about it. Best advertising one can get, Word Of Mouth.
Go back and wack off to your mom's porno.
And may I suggest to you the Douche phone?
Yep. That is totally the size and style of a device that I'd want

Is that too much to ask for?
Its a workhorse. Got it in 1999? Don't remember. Never had battery problems, nada. Thing works. Period.
I think its cause I use my phone/pda all the time, iPod sometimes. I still use a Palm Vx because it's so darn slim.
Personally, I'd rather have a PDA/Cell phone than a PDA/Cell/iPod.
Any convergance right now will be a train wreck.
Um, had one. It's too big and bulky.

It's really scary to see the LACK of vegetation on the planet.
Yeah, exactly. I think if anyones to blame, it's the driver.
You are a genius. Shear. Oh my. ROTFLMAO.
Haven't we done that? Timothy is a living example of a Sheep grown brain transplanted into a human ;-)

Donald, read.

I don't blame the soldiers at all.
As a user for the last 6 months, it's been great. Great service.
Actually, I'd expect the article from Timothy or Zonk, but not CowboyNeal........

Then what? Mac OS Donkey? Mac OS Eeyore? Mac OS Piglet?
