Not really. C# is a language like any other - it's just the best known implementation is for.NET. If you wanted to, you could write a C# compiler that uses precisely zero.NET, and it'd still be a compiler for C#.
Plus C# is used for Mono and GTK#, neither of which are.NET. Mono implements the same stuff true, but it's not.NET.
Is there a version of this link (http://www.southparkstudios.com/news/3878) that doesn't redirect UK viewers to the UK website, where the article isn't visible?
In theory, it would expand and contract mostly along the length of the fibres, meaning the wear rate would be much lower.
Then again, IANAMS (I am not a materials scientist)
Or maybe it's the first step towards that ultimate goal. Since MS have had to offer this ballot screen for browsers, other companies in other markets may push for the same e.g. Nullsoft pushing for a media player ballot screen.
Either way, this should do the trick for now:
1. Shut off water main.
2. Drain system by opening all taps.
3. Open all windows.
4. ???
5. Profit! (By not being blown up)
Or, as a car analogy: MS/Windows is a car, and the OSS world is other cars. CodePlex is a roofbox on the MS/Win car.

There's one problem with that - it requires thinking.
A-Patch is actually one of the better tools - it's been going for a good few years now.
Is it just me, or does everyone read that in Farnsworth's voice?
They cancelled Family Guy. Twice. Then brought it back because enough people bought it on DVD.

...but the thing I want answered in '201' more than anything else is, who really is Cartman's father? What's this about some guy in a bear costume?
Good point :)
While it's not the same technology, wouldn't a Peltier device achieve that?
Milk or dark?

2.2 million of them in July this year, according to Wikipedia.
I'd imagine, it it was a meteorite, that it's still there, just pulverised into fine dust by the impact.
Or someone took it home with them ;)
I think you mean 800MSP :P
MSP = Microsoft Points
Well I would go with Betty, but I'd be thinking of Wilma...

I know in computing it's fashionable to make up words, but badware? That's just crap. Besides, there's already a suitable word: malware.
It wouldn't be an XML serialisation if it wasn't XML compatible.
They should have XMLized HTML in the first place.
They did. It's called XHTML.
Unless you mean XML-ise HTML 3.2 or earlier, but I believe XML didn't exist back then.
Combined Internet device/shortwave radio?
A simply Google search probably will tell you how to work around the filter completely
If someone wants to see the dancing bunny, then by God, they'll see the dancing bunny!

Would that be a good EULA?
