..is a great thing. HOWEVER, you could debate all day that if Google didn't exist because we all focused on not letting it come to power, that some other company would of done what they did and we'd be in exactly the same place but with a different logo. Perhaps available in cornflower blue!
Perhaps if we'd of known how evil and corrupt the World has become we'd of tried to make a nuclear bomb much quicker to get it over and done with.
And finally.. - Who's going to even bother to do anything about things when they become a major problem. No one, that's who! (and not the mayors aid either).
I always see the 'child porn' label as a potential to easily shut anything down that disagrees with big brother (not that I'm saying in this case they're not guilty). But who's going to admit to knowing it's true??

Plus, if you check out the Google cache of the site at the bottom it was designed by vane.ru.. AND just out of interest their email on their nominet is..
As we don't know where Evolution plans on taking life, then we're a bit above our selves to think that only XY number of species are "allowed" to become extinct at any such point in time. I'm sure the dinosaurs are strongly arguing for you too.
Life keeps cropping up on this planet and has done for.. well a fair while now! The fact that even if there was a nuclear holocaust cockroaches would survive shows that a bit of extra heat/cold isn't going to stop our planet from fulfilling any purpose is has (if any). So even in the far flung chance where all life dies off, then our planet will be just like every other planet in the Universe. "oh but lifes so special we need to.." shut up you self righteous fool.

The First World War was started by the US and UK invading Iraq for oil.. of course it's still going to go on. Though it can't be a war, it's an invasion, a war requires both sides territory to be under attack during the majority of the length of fighting. This is just America and England sitting on Foreign soil while the workers get all the oil out. George W Bush runs an oil company, Iraq has a lot of oil.. you didn't vote for him ANYWAY, so it's pretty much a dictator sending you all out to fill his pockets.

Google without the Ads seems like a choice for all those disgruntled fools. Though we all know it's hard to avoid Google as your first point of cuil. (SORRY!)
Perhaps we need something to the equivalent of W3C specifically for this, and to be future governing in how to maintain/expand DNS and our overall Network in general. Perhaps with a collection of individuals who are the the top experts from several countries.. perhaps Microsoft could choose these people and then release their own Standard "BrokeDNS".
That while your privacy is being taken away rapidly, that you all just start a political debate. Considering I'm usually marked off-topic..

How can they patent fwd, rwd and record when they were present on Betamax/U-matic video recorders (1975/71).. Surely Gods patent on time pre-dates this Tivo one?!
What about all of the digital boxes like Sky/NTL/Virgin Media that have this?

What really gets my goat is if I'd of bid on it the thing would of cost me £60 with £100 P+P. (Ebay if you're reading this - I HATE You!)
Lets hope they keep doing this, and more of it too. Eventually I'll only need to fill out my name on all future exams to pass. Maybe make the tests easier, lower the amount of questions (if there are only 2 questions my percentage stands a better chance), and give the answers out before they have to sit them. We can all look very clever, all have a great set of qualifications with letters after our names, and we can all feel proud that we made it to being a doctor.. even if we do kill every other patient - still 50%.. they'll at least feel like they passed!

But I can contradict myself, [wiki] "Populations fell dramatically because of hunting and the introduction of predators and grazers by humans since the seventeenth century".. humans are part of the evolution processes, so our interactions in whatever negative or positive form are part and parcel of the process.
But as always GC said it best "We're so self-important. So self-important. Everybody's going to save something now. "Save the trees, save the bees, save the whales, save those snails." And the greatest arrogance of all: save the planet. What? Are these fucking people kidding me? Save the planet, we don't even know how to take care of ourselves yet. We haven't learned how to care for one another, we're gonna save the fucking planet?"
Truth is considered to be universal if it is valid in all times and places.
Even with "news" websites you don't get the truth, you just get a reporters take on the events. Even eye witness testimony is poor at best.
So the truth between politicians, reporters and geeks is just going to create a system I'd like to call..

6.3 billion dollars on this project and they have a 16 bit colour display. Thought they could at least afford something decent. If they want to borrow a monitor I'm happy to help, though I will charge my usual fee of 1.1 billion dollars.

Knowing if I've read some Terms and Conditions which was well over 3 years ago isn't really indicative of my reading abilities.
I can't explain though, I'm trying to conserve bandwidth.
