How are we going to do that? Everyone knows that things aren't nearly as fun as they used to be... people are even complaining about waterboarding now! what's this world coming to? Shoot, I remember when you could put a man on the rack - no problem.

No e-mail addresses? We need a list of the "yes" voters here! If we don't tell these guys they're idiots and that we don't vote for idiots - who will? This is an election year - they don't have any choice but to listen. Everyone here needs to e-mail them. I don't care if you're not an American, just pretend :P

Yeah, I have a feeling that if people had known what was going to happen - they'd have fought back like 93 did. Everyone else was probably under the impression that this was just another hijacking where the terrorists fly to some airport and demand the release of some people in exchange for the release of the passengers (never ends that way but at least the passengers usually all make it).

Well come on... hindsight is always 20-20 isn't it? Ask any parent if they would have gone back and changed virtually anything in their lives to prevent their kid from dying before they did and they would say "yes". That doesn't mean they made the right choice at the time - just that they love their kids.

There are always prequels... I agree that aside from doing something ridiculous like taking the game to some completely different location where you happen to have the same types of powers available to you there wasn't much left that you could build a chronological sequel off of. I could see a game based on Rapture before you got there in BioShock 1 though.

Seriously, I can't wait for DMCA part II to happen. It's not a matter of if, but when, we end up with another ridiculous law that takes away consumer rights. Clinton (obviously no longer in the running) said she didn't discuss net neutrality because she didn't even consider it a priority. How is effectively making it so that you can take a freeway to get to a big box store and a freaking gravel road with potholes to get to a mom & pop store not important? Does she not realize that small businesses continue to employ over half of our country? My cousin runs a small music shop. She is able to compete with big companies like Guitar Center by making about half of her sales through her website... but if it takes 2 minutes to load her site - no one will go there.

The real problem is that not only are the candidates clueless about the technology but they're clueless about the cause and effect relationships.
