-Will the Chrome OS licensed with the standard Google license, that was used "by mistake" in the Chrome browser first? -Will the Chrome OS give me targeted ads on the desktop/taskbar/whatever based on my OS usage? -Can one trust his/her computer and data to an OS/Web application system that was made by a company, primarily living off collecting/categorizing data?

Agreed.
Also lets say someone nukes a city like New York. Just one tiny 10 Megaton bomb is dropped.
Beyond the shockwave, the radioactive fallout and direct radiation, the surrounding area woluld be seriously polluted, and I doubt anyone could survive there. Just imagine, all that plastic, rubber other dangeourus materials in our everyday appliances burned into the atmosphere. You probably have seen pictures or videos of burning oil wells in Kuvait. Well thats nothing compared what would be generated after a nuked city.
Now what if someone nukes just 12 of the major US cities? Or a lots of cities around the world?
Maybe the nukes itself would destroy only the cities in a few km radius, but the products of all those things that would burn in our cities would surely cause some ugly consequences on the rest of the world.
If You were a company that lives of recovering data, and would happen to know the answer for this challenge, would You release to the public the method You have used to recover the data for some $500 dollars and a drive You have hacked useless?
Ok. Nvidia and AMD/ATI probably will overperform the Intel GPU. However Intel has open specs of their GPU-s, so for NOT the gamers there will be a quite good performance GPU to be used under Linux for various purposes with high quality OSS drivers. Im looking forward to it.

Well I belive in God, however I accept evolution as a very good therory (with all the evidences behind it). In my opinion religion and science should be really sepatated. Religon on one hand has some quite good moral lessons, and has some nice spiritual aspects, but science on the other hand describes the universe as we see it. Religion should teach people how to be nice, and be a good member of society and give them some spiritual balance, not explain phisics, or mathematics or whatever. Just 2000 Years ago Zeus was throwing his lightning bolts at us, and now we know, its just a big electrical discharge. That would be only my opinion...
Also I would have a question to any one, who does not accept evolution:
Wolud You marry Your sister/brother? Would You breed with Your brother/sister? No? Why? Are You afraid of Gods punishment? Maybe You are simply afraid of genetical disorder and other diseases, that would kill Your family in a few generations?
Ok. Then HOW in the hell did Adam and Eve populate the planet?
Just a thought....
If You want to read a digital book, every time You do so, You need the computer to be turned on. However, if You have the same thing as a book, You can read it anytime without extra power usage, as Your friend/family member/etc can do that too, using the same book. So reading the book once maybe energy efficient, but if the book is read several times by several people it may not be so.
Yea? What about UT2004, Nexuiz, Sauerbraten, Cube, BZFlag, Quake3, ZDoom, Battle for Wesnoth, Enemy Territory, Quake4, Doom3 as am example of quite good quality linux playable games.
Buy some here http://www.tuxgames.com/, or search google for open source ones. You were kidding, right?
Shina...
IMHO if something happens during a space walk, You still can bring the astronaut back on board, and still can try an unrepaired re-entry. But even if the repairing astronaut dies (which is very unlikely), the others are still alive.
I'm not a space expert though, so my opinion doesn't count at NASA. I just hope for them to return safely in one piece.
