A quick skim of the comments on Slashdot shows almost all the Anonymous Cowards and a significant number of the identified commenters think it's the job of the US government to get the hell out of the way of business and watch it turn America into some kind of libertarian utopia.
Sadly, this is what happens instead. Business won't provide entry level jobs for the best and most talented young computer people, because "Fuck you. Our only mission is to enrich our shareholders and society can suck it."
So those bright, talented young kids find somewhere else where they can make a buck while they develop and exercise their skills.
The only real problem with switching away from Windows is that the Linux community is almost as full of c^cksuckers as the men's room at the Republican National Convention.
And these corporate blow boys are just now figuring out that dealing with China means they will suck every iota of technology out of your company and throw it back a year later as their own?
Seriously...it's 'way past time Americans at least made a token effort to get control of their government back from the oligarchs.
Thanks for the education. I had no idea they'd actually gotten to the point of installing crap like that in an Enterprise edition. How can you be responsible for customers' confidential information when the actual OS is undermining your security efforts? It's like somebody scattering cell door keys around a prison and not expecting problems.
I am profoundly relieved, because that nasty Scarlett Johansson person will be unable to post videos featuring my face grafted onto the bodies of her lovers. The chance that my dignity might be outraged in this way been worrying me ever since "deepfakes" became a thing.
