And the radio music stations have way to many comercials to be enjoyable. I have moved on to talk radio, and I have to say I think I enjoy talk radio more, and there seams to be far less comercials then music radio. Good by music, hello talk.

Here is the text "PCS Vision Packs are: (a) only available with a Vision capable PCS Phone or PCS smart phone device; and (b) not available with Connection Cards, Aircards, or any other device used in connection with a computer or PDA - including phones, smart phones or other devices used with connection kits or similar phone-to-computer/PDA accessories. PCS Vision Packs are also not available with Bluetooth Vision capable PCS Phones used as a modem in connection with other devices. Sprint reserves the right to deny or to terminate service without notice for any misuse."

on the other hand t-mobil does not have that in their contract, but I am not sure what the exact rules there are, I am sure to find out, I have been using it to stream internet radio stations to my laptop, then retransmit them to my car radio. But when I bought the service they said I could do it, and they have instructions on their site how to see your bluetooth phone up for use as a modem for a laptop. NOw if I can get a player for my palm that can do all the internet radio stream formats.

Now with what I said, think about this you have a sibling in a place that had a major disastor, all other forms of comunications are out, all that is left is one ham with a HF station, that ham now becomes the only link for that place to the outside world, would you not want the message from your famaly member to come in, or would you reather have BPL and never know that your sibling is safe or dead or what.

God forbid that anything like this would happen to you or any one, but we must reconize that it posable.

Linux may never get it, unless more people use Linux, and I doubt that they would want to open up the code to the voting system that could create a large number of people trying to skew the results so that the results are not accurate.

""I think Internet voting is a good idea for this population if you can assure security, but I'm not confident that they can do that," said John Dunbar, a project manager at the Center for Public Integrity" -- this statement is what will not alone them to open up the source code, people will be just to afraid that people will mess with the results of the system.

They are already afraid that this could open up security problems for the results "Other computer security experts call the project an open invitation to election tampering."

I don't know if this will make voting secure, in fact I think it will open it up to attackers, but how are we going to convince the government of this, write to you legislator, and senator, I am sure there are some proactive Slashdot readers that know more about this issue that could try to enlighten the ruling parties.
