Remember that non-americans can participate in the online polls on cnn. That is probably why Kerry leads. I am surprised that it is not by a larger margin as most of the rest of world clearly favours Kerry as a lesser of two evils.

So if you believe my translation there's not a single mention of moose there.

Well, you could just place your calendarfile on a ftp or webdav server.

The main reason for me to use calendar/sunbird is so I have access to my private calendar from work and vice-versa.

Now all I really need more from calendar/sunbird is the ability to accept invitations and calendar bookings from Outlook as quite a lot of people at work use Outlook.

Persistent rumours in the copy protection industry tells that the technology used in StarForce3 is actually reverse engineered from CD-Cops http://www.linkdata.com/index.htm#cdcops, by StarForce's russian team.

This is supposed to be one of the reasons the pricing of the StarForce3 systems does not reflect the perceived development costs for the technology.

No, civilized countries write dates either as DDMMYYYY or YYYYMMDD, you don't just juggle the digits around.

Nobody would write time like HH:SS:MM ? Of course not, it would be just as ridiculous as writing a date like YYYYDDMM it doesn't make any sense.

Or you could write dates like most airlines do 01APR04 or in this case 11MAR04..

  7. Re:reviewers are bitches.. on On Champions Of Norrath, Forgiving Game Reviewers? · · Score: 4, Informative
A good place for information on games is www.metacritic.com they collect reviews from other places (online and print) and gives a weighted average dependent on the size/thrustworthyness of the reviewer.
This way you can quite easily get a pretty good idea of how a game is reviewed. I don't know how gametab calculates their scores tho.

Often reviewers are given versions that aren't completely finished. One of the reasons for this is that the print-magazines have deadlines very long time ahead of publishing (especially the case for PC games where the time from the game is finished and until it appears in shops are much shorter that for console games)

If a game has serious bugs like that it is disturbing that it made it's way through Sony's QA which is usually rather welldone, but of course I just took the tinfoil out of my hat so maybe the brainwashing orbital lasers made me ignore that it is a game made by Sony and published by Sony.

I think that one of the more important things to look for when buying a laptop is the keyboard. Lots of manufacturers put the silly 'FN' button in the lower left corner where CTRL should be. I for one hate that.
