    I'm fine with them charging for content they have been selling DVD's and Video's for years. I just think they should reduce the cost of the TV licence rather than expand their services most of which very few people use.

    That will be $5 please. That patent is more than a bit vauge it could include clicking on the scroll bar so it jumps down a set amount.

    Maybe Apple should stop selling their product to Psystar then? You can't sell a product and complain that people are buying it and using it.

    This sounds like it will be similar. Its quite interesting since Firefox could not allow a built in ad-blocker and IE has an accidental built in one. It sounds to me like they are addressing the needs of the user with out trying to piss off the advertising industry. TBH the advertising and tracking industry have put in some nasty tricks over the years so it serves them right that users have the chance to block them till they sort out their practaces.

    For the same reason they still sold 8 "I am Rich" Apps and sell people iPhone software they can later turn off with out a refund. Because after all of apple's positive image its as money grabbing if not worse, than MS.

    That's not news that's their standard practice. EA not buying over a game company is news but totally expected that they would try and do it on the cheap by suing them. Personally I'd say there will be a boycott on the EA version soon.

    I'd have thought the religious argument would be that God would correct the errors in translation so its original message still shines through. Even if it does contradict that last passage, encourage people to kill each other etc. Still if this thing is from 400BC that would be before Christ so why would it mention it ?

    The problem is that the games are not the same. Its generally considered that there are more 360 games therefore more choice and also more console exclusives. The reason you choose one console over another (on a game basis) is for the exclusives. at the start of the year reasons to buy a PS3 were : FFXIII, MGS4 and Haze. Haze is a lame duck and FFXIII is no longer an exclusive, so....

    The Compenion concept notebook two very shiny screens which lay flat so would be hard to see. No tactile response on the keyboard(unless the surface is electrified.) and a pen with no where to store it when your on the go. The Canova concept notebook looks like the EeePC V2. again same problems except that it can bee tilted and isn't as shiny and has ports. The Cario concept notebook Seperate keyboard pannel with no buttons requiring an on screen keyboard (WTF!) why design a laptop which can be used in a 20 year old car ?

    The last I heard they had a way around that in the pipeline. they reckon that up to 60% of the internet using UK is sharing music. I cant see ISP's wanting to kick off 60% of their business.
