  1. Telegram used to be almost an exact clone. Not sure if it's still that way.

  2. I kind of liked whatsapp, even though it has got me into trouble numerous times. I like the idea of being able to communicate with my friends and family without having to have a "profile". And I like not having a wall where people post pictures and articles that I'm not interested in.

    You're missing the bigger picture. The Russians are not left or right. Their goal is instability in the US. That means making partisan differences worse. Getting the people to vote for governments that cannot function. Divide and conquer is the name of the game. In that respect they will 'support' any side if they know they can use it to stir up trouble. They want Americans to turn on each other.

    Like in any way, you would want to have as many bullets as possible at your disposal. However, you fight with the army you have, not the army you would like to have, so you need to fit everything within your budget.Having a dedicated pen tester is cool, but a lot of them just go through a set of tools or tests and then that's it. They dont necessarily know the best ways to exploit a particular system.

    In a previous job I wrote phone some discreet tracking software so that we could see where the company phones where. Eventually one of my bosses asked me to modify the app so that he could read his girlfriends sms messages without her knowing. I was surprised how easy it was to add this feature. This adjustment to Android security is about 7 or 8 years too late.

    I'd rather be dumb and happy than more intelligent and miserable. People nowadays have become so addicted to technology that their emotions are based on what crap they see on a little screen when they check it a thousand times a day. That is the biggest pile of ballocks and people need to put an end to this. Turn the phones off and start living again.

    You don't need to open a new account each time, some companies like namecheap offer a catchall that forwards ANY email to a domain to a specified email address. You can find out which email address a spammer used by looking in the "to" field.
