    You know, I can see that the research subject could be news for nerds and matter, but why does the headline simply state the nationality of the scientists who won a Nobel Prize instead of saying anything, well, important or interesting?

    If anybody at PETA had actually bothered to play Pokemon Black and White for more than five minutes, they'd have met a group of villains named Team Plasma. This group was a parody of real world "revolutionary" groups like the Black Panthers or PETA, who attempt to present themselves as fighting for a worthy cause, when in reality they're just after personal gain and a feelings of self-satisfaction.

    What makes you think someone at PETA didn't play it and then decide to attack the franchise in retaliation?

    Yes, but getting a false positive on your own software takes it to an entirely new level.

    Someone creating a digital start-up definitely needs to understand the product or service they're creating, both the fundamentals and the specifics, but that doesn't mean they personally have to be able to build it. There really isn't a need for a company's creator/owner/whatever to be involved at such a level (unless they actually are an expert in such coding), and there are undoubtedly better things they should be doing with their time. And if they aren't already skilled in responsible coding, they definitely shouldn't be messing with things.
