They don't need to know HOW it works. Make no mistake, there are point and click tools for detecting keylogers and rootkits. Killing keyloggers on linux is as simple as holding a three key shortcut.

There's even liveboot distros made to deal specifically with problems like these. They would mount your windost partitions and deal with the problem for you.

It's hard to teach that to grownups sometimes. Especially ones that have had little exposure to trolls online. I've had to explain email scams to older people with the same situation but instead it's a salesmen at the door or a telemarketer, Then they go "oh". SEVERAL TIMES.
I don't know why people give so much credibility to digital communication.

A legitimate religion's members keep their morals and teachings to themselves. They don't indoctrinate kids from young age. A legitimate religion doesn't tell you what you should do in bed and doesn't judge you based on gender, ethnicity or race. A legitimate religion doesn't proclaim to have the one and only truth and lest you follow exactly its teachings you will suffer for eternity.

We seem to misunderstand each other. What i propose is not to just hide the tlds from people. What i propose is not to force people to get 2nd level domains under a limited number of tlds. People would be able to register their own tlds the same way they can 2nd level domains.
So there would be Google, and if they want they can make maps.google or IPv6.google, etc etc.
The only problem is some people would object from a technical point of view, as a transition we could make a .web tld that would be optional in the way the browsers/ ipstack resolve things. So exampledomain and exampledomain.web would point to the same thing. When we get the infrastructure to completely remove the need for a .web you'd just use exampledomain. If you didn't enter the .web at the end the browser would do that for you. The same way it is with the . at the end of tlds right now.

  23. Re:Veto Them All on Can World Governments Veto Your Domain Name? · · Score: 1

Well you still have the top one just a dot before the tld, browsers hide that from users, if you don't trust me just go to http://google.com.

There's nothing stopping us from treating TLDs like we treat 2nd level domains right now.
