    So you believe the bit about pulling people to a offsite location and telling them the IRS is going to go back on THEIR tax records 5 years to garnish some imagined top wages that may or may not have already been reported, and somehow quitting would solve it?

    I wouldn't put it past a shitty manager to say that kind of shit, even off the record, but no one with a brain would believe it.

    Bitcoin is as anonymous as you want it to be.
    Exchanging it for fiat currency isn't.

    Create your own cert and sign it, then the user can set the powershell policy to prompt for untrusted certs.
    The prompt lets them choose whether or not to run shit each time. They also have the option to accept a particular cert permanently via that same prompt.

  4. When you write your script, you can name your shit properly and describe it properly.
    Then anyone using it will get a friendly error message saying their usage was wrong and showing what the correct usage is.
    You also get tab completion for commandlets and arguments and even options for arguments.

    I rarely use powershell but when I do I always appreciate the fact that it's actually pretty great. This is coming from a STRONK hater of nearly everything MS has done in the last 4 years.

    Getting less votes is not one of them either.

    1: The word you want is "fewer", not "less".
    2: "Fewer" is a relative term (as is "less"). You need to compare it to something, such as getting fewer votes than Boothead.
    3: If you're referring to the national popular vote, you're correct. That's not a reason she lost because that's not how the US elects its President.

    Will they be forced to pay fines that are more than they get from selling the data? (Not just have fines declared - actually pay out.)
    Will they be unable to blame this on a bug, a user traveling, a user's "friend"on Facebook providing that info, or Facebook otherwise obtaining that info legally (but in a way that they can't reveal so as to protect their business interests)?
    Will they extradite Zuckerberg and his cronies and put them in jail in Europe?

    They'd be in tepid water at best.

  20. Chroma subsampling (4:2:2 or 4:2:0) and the realtime compression (DisplayPort 1.3 and up I believe) are ways they drive high res displays over a single cable @ 60 Hz. I'd sooner find out how many toothpicks I could fit in my urethra than drive a 5K display with subsampled chroma, however.

    I don't know what the MacBook Pro is passing things over, via how many ports, or what the monitor expects, but you can get a subset of a DisplayPort signal over the latest Thunderbolt / USB shit.

    He made no effort, and his own party didn't push the issue like they did for prior appointments. Where was the media coverage we had when Sotomayor was up? The media has already admitted to being a tool for the DNC and working their asses off for Hillary. (They keep talking about how they were wrong, how they were biased for Hillary, how they underestimated Trump, etc. in order to announce to the GOP that they'll dance to the Republican tune as well.)

    Yes, the GOP blocked it. That's how it goes. You never put your first choice first. You offer one you expect to be rejected immediately, then another you would love but will probably be rejected, then the one you actually want and expect to have a chance. This is true for everything from supreme court nominees to buying a car.

    You made a big point of saying "three quarters of a year ago". What has he done in those "three quarters of a year" to get the seat filled? Sit on his ass? Where's the effort? If the defeatist attitude of "Oh, the Republicans will just block it." is guiding his decisions, why did he make the first nomination at all? HINT: It was lip service. It's a no effort, lazy, nomination with no push behind it. He fully expected it to be blocked and didn't care, he simply wanted to kick the can down the road to Hillary and a bluer congress.

    It's all politics with them (DNC and GOP), and if you take anything at face value you're a fool.

    Obama's fault for not trying to appoint anyone to the Supreme Court. It's his duty, but he decided to wait for the election to let Hillary do it so she could, eventually, get a hard liberal past Congress.

    Had he just selected a moderate or even a sane liberal, the DNC could have used any blocking and delaying as general ammunition against the GOP in the run up to the election.
