this should be used as a perfect example of how patents are supposed to work?

From what I read, the memory is limitless, because the pen is just what is being manipulated.

All the work is done when you tell the "pen server" to acknowledge this click as something you want to pick up. (probably by a button on a stylus)

Then you the next time you tap the pen (or after you click the button on the stylus) it drops it in the next place.

So the pen actually would have any memory.

This endless justification for anything because, "we are at war" only weakens people's tolerance for crap like this.
Some people remember what war actually meant, rationing gas, and steel and daily items, not "carry on and keep spending money" or urban renewal projects.

It's so transparent it makes me wonder if the people who say it actually keepa straight face while trying to spread this crap.

Most people are using the OS that thier computer shipped with, whatever HP or Compaq or Dell put on there.

The people who are using a pirated copy, more that likely know enough about computers to actually keep a computer clean.

It's the other home users out there, joe blow, who gets his cable modem, his new PC and leaves it on all the time. That's the guy they are refering to in the article. Not someone involved enough to actually track down a pirated copy of XP, get a serial that works, and spend the time upgrading.

If something gets fubar, they just have to boot off the CD and it will reimage the OS back to the original state. Since it's a shared computer, nothing valuable should be stored on it anyway.

You would end up looking pretty odd if you get lipo and start gaining weight again.
