    As more people realize that iTunes is a viable option to the $18 cd, it will push the RIAA and its demon member companies to lower it's prices.

    Now if they raise the price, the RIAA can hold onto its CD monopoly for a little while longer.

    I think that this is going to be a HUGE problem for intel. For years this has been the major marketing tool they've used. So now, they are just going to say, "Um, oh yeah, all that stuff we told you, about mhz, ghz, and stuff, that doesn't really apply to us anymore."

    AMD and Apple really should take advantage of this and do a little "we were right all along" ad.

    Well, let Bill do with the money what he wants.
    I paid for the service/software, so the money is his to do with what he wants.

    Does that mean I pay a "GM Tax" when i buy a car, or a "Taco Bell Tax" if I eat there?

    Just because someone profits on something and something simliar is given away free elsewhere doesn't mean that the profit is unjust.

    Take the "software should be free" banner out of your ass, commrad, and realize that profit is not inherently bad.

    Ya know, if something can bring technology to the public, and not increase my taxes, I am all for it.

    It just a coincidence that it's Bill Gates is the one who has the money to donate. As far as marketing goes, I am sure there are more cost effective ways to increase sales. And if you are that worried about it, start an OSS charity group to do the exact same thing.

    I think Bill Gates just realized that extremely wealthy people that just collect billions and don't become philanthropists, are viewed in a negative light.

    Who's saying it not natural? What scientists?

    They are looking at a couple hundred years of data and trying to explain why something that's been around for 4.3 billion years is suddenly warmer.

    These same scientists would be blaming SUV's for an ice age if it were suddenly getting colder. When it's well know that there are cycles to temperature change on the planet.

    Yeah maybe in the last 18 years it's gone up relatively alot, but who know's in the next 18 years it may average out.

    You gotta look at the bigger picture. Like eons not decades.

    And what the non-environmentalists are saying is that there is probably nothing we can do to stop it. It's a natual cycle on the planet.

    We have to look beyond what our personally kept records are and look into history to see what may be coming our way.

    I am assuming that since the red showed warmer areas, the blue areas would show cooler areas.
    And it looks like most of the rest of Eastern Europe was cooler.

    It seems to me that most people think that it's getting hotter, well, it probably is.
    But I don't think that people realize that they have to take into count mroe than the most recent 200 years of history, that's a pretty small time table for something as old as the earth.

    This is the entire and I mean ENTIRE problem with Ep. I and II, everyone is seen as either pure good or pure evil.

    There is no one like Han, who is by nature a self serving man, but actually has a decent side to him.

    Makes it so you can actually like him.

    Obviously this type of person isn't something that Lucas agrees with, considering the chop job he did with the whole shooting first thing.

    see the problem I have with this statement is that when people visit my house, i usually know them, and if i don't know them, i at least get a name and reason for visiting before they come into my home. and if i don't know them, I sure as hell aren't going to let them roam around my house without me.

    And if you say you don't/wouldn't do the same, you are full of crap.

    can i ask why you had diplomatic immunity?

    So you could break the law and then all we could do is kick you out?

    If you want the rights of an american citizen, go through the process of becoming a citizen.

    I don't understand why you would be worried about being in the US without immunity. Sure, there are some asses in positions of power that could mess with you even if you didn't do anything wrong, but most people here couldn't care less about you.

    remember these people are GUESTS in this country, if they don't like it, they don't have to visit.

    If i visited another country, and it was the policy in that country, it's basically a tough-noogies type deal. Don't like it, don't visit.

    Actually i think in the US it's the same, you can be high, you just can't have any drugs on you, or be doing something that the drug would impair you, i.e. driving.

    I understand your arguement, but in most eyes, mine included, if you conciously spend the time looking for and downloading something, you are for the most part interested in running that.

    Unless you are privately archiving random applications, just in case someone with a legal license may need them.

    This same arguement could be used on anything.
    "No officer, those 5 bails of pot are there simply to get them off the street, nothing illegal will be done with them."

    But realy pirates don't use p2p apps for warez.
    That's kiddie crap.
    More like they are tracking 14 year old's with a cable modem.

    try IRC, now if they could track that, it'd probably blow their minds.

    I think the ease of use is a selling point of it.
    I can play mp3's on my ipaq now, but it's a pain in the ass to switch the songs.

    I do agree though, that the battery life, and capacity is the majority.
