But what if i broke into the computer systems of several major office buildings and make 5000 computers/phones, whatever, dial 911 rendering it completely uselss, and then no one in say NYC could call for emergency services for the course of 24 hours or more?
That with all the kernel hackers gathered in the same place. Microsoft might make a deal (another?)with Satan for a terible disaster to strike that building and kill everyone?:(
Yeah it proved its worth on that half dropped touchdown, only if it wasn't grainy. I hope they continue to improve upon it both in picture quality and cost effectiveness of using it.
It would be sad if it ended up being a one time only Super Bowl XXXV gimick.
Oh and another thing, if the system really was compromised, and the FBI gets involved. First thing they are gonna ask for are list of employees who have come/gone in the last 6mo/1yr.

Alot of things like this can come from former employees who were let go and might have grievences, and might know a thing or two about computer security or how things were running in the office.
This just adds to the stack of things im mad at Egghead about, Including my $35 ram that never got shipped....
How is this exclusive? 3DFX motion blur pictures have been out since before the v5 line of cards were released!!!!

Probably because linux is the "in" thing right now, you say linux to someone on the floor of the stock market and they have a general idea your talking about something with computers, you say BSD and you will probably just get a blank look.

In all honesty I doubt 50,000 years is a good idea. Maybe one thousand to two thousand years seems a bit more realistic to me.
Agreed, the first time i ever saw Akira it was in english (shudder). The second time I watched it, it was subtitled, mae alot more sense, Ghost in the shell had much better dialouge with the subs too. As for Princess Mononoke i haven't seen it dubed and i never will;)

When I first read it was going to be on Fox I was like WTF? Blood, sword fights, Hitomi getting drunk etc etc... How are they going to explain the new scar on Dilandu's face if they can't show the part where it happens?
