"he has implemented retroactive taxes in violation of the constitution, curbed the Constitutional Court's power, effectively nationalized private pension funds and put ruling-party allies in charge of at least four independent institutions..."
Thank you Slashdot for finally giving me the needed push to stop visiting here. When tripe like this is "reported" here as news I know I'm wasting my time. And there seems to be more and more of this.
I propose a smart wallet be given free of charge to everyone in Congress that would drive a stake through the spot where one would normally find a heart.
They should just ask for help from the same people who helped fund the IRA' murderous bombing campaign, i.e. the yanks. Bet funding terrorism seemed a jolly good "craic" back then, still karma can be a bit of a bitch as the found out on 11/9.
I'll tell you why he does this. He's the epitome of the stereotypical starfucker.
He's real proud of his goddamned Batman collection (remember his cameo in the movie?) and when he chaired the Senate Agriculture committee he arranged "expert" testimony on the farm crisis in the late 80s in the form of Sissy Spacek, Jessica Lange and Sally Fields - who's only claim to expertise in the subject was by virtue of starring in movies on the subject. Look how often he and Utah's Hatch roll over for their media buddies. Fuck him. He's a hack.
"The big question, though, is just how successful any fresh attempt at enforcing new privacy strictures on the Internet will be with Republicans soon to be in charge of the House."
The Democrats have proven themselves to be just as guilty in this regard so please refrain from the partisianship.

But I don't believe it is for lack of trying. I am worried...

Then there was the pesky aluminum head that warped destroying the engine if the temperature went about 90 degrees F....

Made by the same company that brought us the Chevy Vega...
I wonder how they feel being denied due process...

And I see a ripe opportunity to re-open my old dial-up BBS.
The SJ Figurine doll is marked "Discontinued" and has been replaced by one called "Butt-Head Astronomer".
I can't wait until every U.S. police department decides it "needs" these to "protect" the citizenry.
One wonders what his sensibilities for human drama and actual tension would have done to that cartoon.
Yeah - we're really going to miss Ewoks "emoting".

"...we could remove applications from handsets - we don't want things to go that far, but we could."
Now I have no need to even consider getting one.
Seems pretty real to me.
I entered slashdot/quality and came up blank.
I'm gonna start carrying a mannequin in the trunk of my car.
