There is one huge difference, Windows malware spread across Windows network protocol with ease. On the other hand SSH can't be compromised, so even if you have a virus on your Linux server it won't spread to the next box.
It is about good and evil, since there is no way to secure data from a professional IT guy who knows his job and knows better then anyone else in the world the inner working of his IT system.
If you remove his access, you deny him to do his job.
The problem is what the eyes sees and what the body feels. I suspect the best games for Rift right now is where you sit down in the game, racing and flying simulations.
Oh yes, Pc costs much more, no denying here, and after 10 min of google, the PS4/XBOX is more like 5 years behind and not 10 like I said. But that was not my point, I was just commenting on the technology.
And you can use the PC from the couch, there are no technical limitation.
Still innocent about how morally hypocrite the adult world is.
I envy them.
There is nothing wrong with sharing personal information if a person desire to do so, what is wrong is the exploitation of them. This is what we should be enraged about.
When the system allows a single individual to amass such wealth into his own hands something is wrong with the system. I have nothing against the rich or Bill Gates and I do think that more capable people should have a reward, but this is going beyond good taste.
If you are alive anything you do is risky.
Or they just dodge taxes so their official profit is minimal.

Maybe he doesn't watch TV 8 hours a day, like all other intelligent people are doing.
In British UK, the ISP access you!

Or one couldn't give a shit about piracy and work toward giving the paying customers all the attention he can.
I pirate stuff, buy games and pledge on kickstarter. If you make a good game you will make money, regardless of what piracy do.
I'm following reddit oculus rift and looks like the games I'm describing are much better regrading motion sickness. FPS are a different story.

a high-end PC can handle 4k res, this is why we have SLI.
Consoles on the other hand ... meh, who cares for them.
That is why I put a question mark in my sentence and I used a hypothetical situation.
Depends where the servers were located, if they were in China, then the only one to blame are the US citizens that bought the goods.
It's the same if you go to a foreign country and buy drugs not allowed in your country. The seller there can't be persecuted.
Is it ?
I'm don't know about copyright laws in China, but unless you breach your country law, the US can fuck off.
If we haven't learned this by now, what makes you think it will change any-time soon?

Nvidia 6800 GT could run game at 1600x1200@60FPS (fov 75) in 2004.
The current consoles can't do that (PS3), will the next generation finally be able to do that?
Whatever those consoles offers, we had it 10 years ago on a high-end PC.
Meh, I have more faith in a computer. At least once they understand us we can finally get a google translator woman -> men.
LOL consoles on 4k, they have a freaking APU, an 5 years old high end GPU laughs at this.
In Soviet Russia the government tells you how good you see!
Does it recognise itself in the mirror?
The same young generation that happily clicks on every Facebook shit it can?

In theory yes, in practice once you got enough money you dodge the tax system through offshore accounts.
