    There is one huge difference, Windows malware spread across Windows network protocol with ease. On the other hand SSH can't be compromised, so even if you have a virus on your Linux server it won't spread to the next box.

    I'm following reddit oculus rift and looks like the games I'm describing are much better regrading motion sickness. FPS are a different story.

    The problem is what the eyes sees and what the body feels. I suspect the best games for Rift right now is where you sit down in the game, racing and flying simulations.

    a high-end PC can handle 4k res, this is why we have SLI.

    Consoles on the other hand ... meh, who cares for them.

  12. Depends where the servers were located, if they were in China, then the only one to blame are the US citizens that bought the goods.

    It's the same if you go to a foreign country and buy drugs not allowed in your country. The seller there can't be persecuted.

    Oh yes, Pc costs much more, no denying here, and after 10 min of google, the PS4/XBOX is more like 5 years behind and not 10 like I said. But that was not my point, I was just commenting on the technology.

    And you can use the PC from the couch, there are no technical limitation.

    Nvidia 6800 GT could run game at 1600x1200@60FPS (fov 75) in 2004.

    The current consoles can't do that (PS3), will the next generation finally be able to do that?

    There is nothing wrong with sharing personal information if a person desire to do so, what is wrong is the exploitation of them. This is what we should be enraged about.

    When the system allows a single individual to amass such wealth into his own hands something is wrong with the system. I have nothing against the rich or Bill Gates and I do think that more capable people should have a reward, but this is going beyond good taste.
