    With the developing of technology and Internet more and more people can diagnose their problems quicker.

    When I was bitten by a tick I diagnosed borreliosis before going to the doctor, by just browsing the Internet. When I visited the doctor I already knew everything I had to do to cure it, still it was nice to get a professional confirmation.

    Get used to it, the more you know, the better you can help yourself.

    You could argue that it looks like a government solution for PC security. Yes, it can be abused, but if you implement it properly with the consent of the user I don't see any problem with it.

    Anyway, isn't easier to create this filter on ISP level? Like a security package that you can choose.

    Of course the devil is in the details, but there is no reason to start bashing China for this type of approach.

    I mean, why it's so difficult to watch around and see what systems can be warez free.

    Offline gaming will always be pirated if anyone cares enough, but Internet gaming can be controlled. All you need is a serial number and registration. No DRM, Safedisk or any other bullshit. I mean World of Warcraft, has absolutely no CD protection, hell you can just copy the entire folder to a new PC and start to play, you don't even need installation. Yet they earn millions every day.

    The earth atmosphere is 120km high. I know the friction is not linear but I doubt it would make so much difference in the last 10%.

    Anyway if anyone can find a nice graph I'd love to see it.

    Considering the atmosphere height of 120 km, I don't think 10% of height can make such a huge difference.

    Doesn't make any sense, if you stand still or move, your chances to get hit by a meteor is the same.The only thing that makes the difference is the area you cover and the height.
