    As long as Australia passes this it won't matter if the U.S. government is left or right. The NSA just needs to route the world's traffic through Australia then ask the ASIO to share the information because the NSA doesn't give a shit what type of government exists...it's run by the military.     This kind of reminds me of Japanese efficiency--so efficient that it's no longer efficient. For example, instead of making something better/more efficient by starting from scratch you make it better/more efficient by adding to it. Processes and procedures in the work place are exactly like this. You can NEVER do something a different way than the way it's already being done...that's just preposterous. You have to "refine" it to make it better/more efficient.

    You'd really have to live and work here to know what I mean.

    Can somebody please point out this apparent "little-known" clause to the Communications Act of 1934 that was inserted during January of 1942.

    You might be able to find it in the Communications Act of 1934 as amended or the Telecommunications Act of 1996.

    Encryption can't hide your source and destination IPs though, so if you're connecting to the lolita-manga website they'll still know that. However, encryption AND an anonymous proxy out there will do the trick.
